Paramount Pictures ‘A Quiet Place’ Casting Search for the Lead Role

Date:

Casting search for deaf actors for a new Paramount feature film, A Quiet Place.

Casting directors are now casting deaf kid actors between the ages of 10 to 12 to star in the upcoming feature film A Quiet Place. Casting directors are looking for someone to play a Caucasian female ages 10 to 12 years old who is deaf. No acting experience is required, but this is one of the leads in the movie, so there is a significant time commitment if cast.

Casting directors are casting the following role:

  • Regan is a young girl age 10-12, who communicates through ASL. She has an innate strength and is defined by her elegance, grace and above all, brilliance. She is a natural tinkerer with the curiosity of a scientist. Her greatest cross to bear is the unimaginable loss of her little brother, and the guilt that it may have been all her fault.

Filming will take place in New York City. The deadline to submit is on March 25th.
