Nicholas Sparks’ “The Longest Ride” Casting Call for Featured Role in North Carolina

‘The Longest Ride’ Casting Call for a Younger version Clint Eastwood’s son, Scott Eastwood.

Nicholas Sparks, most known for writing The Notebook is turning his latest book into a movie.

Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, “The Longest Ride” centers on two sets of lovers in two intertwining stories. The first story is told through flashbacks of a 90-year-old veteran’s life and the love he has for his departed wife. The second story follows a student who falls in love with a similarly-wounded bull rider.

Casting directors are seeking a background actor to be a “Young Luke”, between the ages of 5 – 7, as well as a 30ish yr old male to play “Luke’s Father” in a flashback scene. Luke is played by actor Scott Eastwood, Clint Eastwood’s son.

‘The Longest Ride’ Casting Call

THE LONGEST RIDE: We are currently seeking a background actor to be a “Young Luke”, between the ages of 5 – 7, as well as a 30ish yr old male to play “Luke’s Father” in a flashback scene. Luke is played by actor Scott Eastwood (yes, Clint’s son). If you favor him enough to be a younger version (eye color is important), or father of, please email us asap, with a photo and your contact info to: [email protected] with the heading “YOUNG LUKE”, or the heading “LUKE’S FATHER”.

Must be local to the Winston Salem area.

This scene will shoot Monday IF our currently scheduled scene is rained out. If weather is good, it will shoot later in the week.

Pay rate: $64/8. Location: Winston Salem, N.C.
