NBC ‘Mysteries of Laura’ casting call for extras in New York City

NBC’s ‘Mysteries of Laura‘ follows the life and relationships of the titular female homicide detective, played by Debra Messing. Laura’s soon-to-be ex-husband and also the clever cop who ends up being captain of her police precinct. The schmoozing serial cheater just needs to sign the papers for their divorce to be finalized. In the meantime, he’s stuck Laura with the responsibility of parenting their young twins.

Casting directors are looking for men and women ages 18 to 70 to play seamen, marines and master at arms for the hit TV series The Mysteries of Laura.

Mysteries of Laura Casting Call

Seeking SAG-AFTRA and NON UNION Men and Women, 18-70 to portray Seamen, Marines and Master at Arms for work on The Mysteries of Laura. The scene will shoot on Monday, February 23rd in Manhattan and a possible hair cut on 2/18, 2/19 or 2/20. This will be exterior, current season.

Men must be okay getting an appropriate, regulation Navy haircut or have the haircut already. Men also need to be clean shaven for the shoot. Women’s hair must be long enough to wear in a low bun.

If available for 2/23 and have full day availability, please email a current picture (must be able to see your current haircut) to [email protected] with the following information: YOUR NAME, PHONE#, SAG-AFTRA or NON UNION and avail 2/23.

Please also include your uniform sizes: Jacket, neck x sleeve, waist x inseam and hat. Must own black lace up shoes. Subject line of your email should say “FACEBOOK SAILORS”. Non union rate is $96.25/10hrs. haircut rate is tbd. SAG-AFTRA rate is normal SAG background rate, haircut is a 1/4 check.
