National Geographic’s Emerging Explorers Program Hiring Positions

?**NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SEEKING CREW**

National Geographic’s Emerging Explorers Program recognizes and supports scientists, adventurers, photographers – explorers who are making a difference in the world early in their careers. One member from the program will be profiled.

The National Geographic Emerging Explorers Program  does not accept applications or unsolicited nominations. National Geographic relies on a network of experts who nominate new candidates each year. Candidate lists are kept confidential, and nominees are not notified that they have been nominated.

What qualities define Emerging Explorers? First and foremost, they should be at the beginning of a promising career in exploration. Their recent accomplishments should show a potential for future breakthroughs. In addition, the Emerging Explorers Program should reflect the world’s diversity and should be a home for dynamic personalities who are making a significant contribution to world knowledge through exploration. The National Geographic Emerging Explorers Program is currently  seeking a sharp, skilled and experienced crew – SOUND RECORDIST, MUA/HAIR, PRODUCTION ASSISTANT.

Position: Sound Recordist

Dates: Jan. 31st & Feb. 1st
Requirements: Must own Audio gear
Rate: TBD

Position: MUA/Hair


Dates: Jan. 31st & Feb. 1st
Requirements: Must own Kit
Tone: Natural make-up, tamed hair, adventurer
Rate: TBD w/ Kit

Position: Production Assistant


Prep Dates: Part Time from home
Shooting Dates: Jan. 31 & Feb. 2
Requirements: Laptop and Car with valid driver’s license and insurance. 
Rate: TBD

Some tasks include looking over the crew’s overall well being, runs, coordinating travel plans, etc. Crew must make time available to research and prep from home
