BET’s Being Mary Jane is now casting extras for season 4 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Being Mary Jane season 4 is now casting extras to work on a scene filming on Monday, March 27th. Casting directors are looking for extras to play pizza parlor extras, park extras, street performer extras, bike rider extras, joggers, dog walkers, city council members and other featured roles.

The series was extremely popular on BET since it first debuted in2 013. For it’s entire three-year run, Being Mary Jane was ranked as the number one scripted series among African-American audiences. In fact, the most recent season averaged 2.54 million viewers, which makes it one of the top 5 cable TV shows in the key demographic. However, the show’s creator, showrunner, and director, Salim Akil and Mara Brock Akil signed a major deal with Warner Bros. Television in May which delayed the renewal of Being Mary Jane.

For the television series “Being Mary Jane” Season 4, we are casting the following extras for filming on Monday, 3/27/17:

Extra Roles: Pizza Parlor extras, Park extras, Street Performer Extras, Bicycle Rider Extras, Jogger Extras, Dog Walker Extras, City Council Extras, Church Extras
-Ages 18 and older, all ethnicities, male and female

Filming Location: Atlanta, GA
Filming Date: Monday, 3/27/17
Rate: $75 for 8 hours (you are guaranteed 8 hours with overtime after 8 hours)
