Marvel’s Captain Marvel is now casting African American actors in Louisiana

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Thursday, July 5th in White Castle, Louisiana.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • RATE: $140/12 hours
  • PD – F: Currently casting an African-American looking male (18+ years old) WITH HAIR to work as a photo double! Please see reference photo below for skin tone. Please submit if you fit the size range listed. Please follow the instructions in order to be considered! You must be OK with getting your hair cut to match the actor’s hair and willing to be clean shaven if you have facial hair.
  • Height: 6’1” – 6’3”
    Coat: 42 – 44

Marvel’s Captain Marvel

As we reported last week, Captain Marvel is going to film in New Orleans this summer under the code-name “Open World”. According to the Louisiana Entertainment government website, producers are now accepting resumes for scenes as the movie films from June 26th to July 6th in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana.

The movie will center around an air force pilot turned superhero Carol Danvers also known as Captain Marvel. She is thrown into the middle of the ancient Kree-Skull War – a cosmic war between two ancient aliens that have been going on for thousands of years.

The movie stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Annette Bening, Lee Pace, Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Djimon Hounsou, Robert Kazinsky, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Lashana Lynch, and Clark Gregg.
