Oak City Pictures is seeking approximately 85 extras to play hip-hop fans, club staff, security guards, business people, and D-Rax’s entourage for its SAG ULB feature film HIT A LICK. The scene will be a live performance/club scene starring actor/rapper Tray Chaney of the HBO series “THE WIRE”.

PLOT SUMMARY:
A middle-aged, small-time criminal from Raleigh, NC’s Southeast neighborhood strives to turn his life around by finding his daughter and managing his nephew Cheez’s (J. ALPHONSE NICHOLSON) fledgling hip-hop music career. But when Uncle T’s (SOLOMON GIBSON III) old habits resurface he’s caught between working for the city’s crime boss Big Pop (LURAY COOPER) and the police, leaving Cheez’s decision to either return to college or pursue his dreams of getting a big record deal, in limbo.
