HBO’s ‘Succession’ Season 2 NYC Casting Call for Japanese Actors

HBO’s new TV series Succession Season 2 is now casting Japanese actors for a business and restaurant scene in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is now casting actors, models, and talent to work as background actors on January 23rd, 24th or 25th in New York City. Producers are looking for Japanese types for hospital and restaurant scenes. All ages are being considered. Non-union talents will be compensated $165/10 and union actors will be compensated SAG rate.

The Roy family – Logan Roy and his four children – controls one of the biggest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world Succession tracks their lives as they contemplate what the future will hold for them once their aging father begins to step back from the company. (via)

The cast includes Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Peter Friedman, Natalie Gold, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Parker Sawyers, Sarah Snook, Jeremy Strong, and Rob Yang. The first season received generally favorable reviews from critics. In June 2018, it was announced that the series had been renewed for a second season.

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking NONUNION & SAG-AFTRA to portray JAPANESE types for hospital and restaurant scenes. All ages. Tentative work dates include 1/23, 1/24 or 1/25. This is paid background work. SAG rate applies to SAG members. NONUNION rate is $165/10hrs. Please note which of these dates you are available and if you have worked on season 1 before. You do not need to be available all these dates in order to work.
