HBO’s new series “Lovecraft Country” produced by Jordan Peele is now casting neighbors, business types, and bar patrons in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming this June and July 2019.
Producers are seeking the following types:
MECHANIC – Seeking an African American MALE to portray a mechanic at an automotive shop.
- MOVING NEIGHBORS – Seeking African American Men and Women, ages 20 and over. Also seeking sisters ages 9-12. No shaved heads or Harsh fades. All hair should be period appropriate.
- NEIGHBORHOOD BAR – Seeking African American Men and Women, ages 25 and over to potray patrons at a local bar. No shaved heads or Harsh fades. All hair should be period appropriate.
- CHILDREN OF THE MOON – Seeking Caucasian MALES, ages 40’s to 60’s, to work as professional business-type cult members (think Don Draper/Mad Men, Hellfire Club, 1950/60’s business fashion looks).
About “Lovecraft Country”:
Lovecraft Country is an upcoming drama horror television series based on Matt Ruff’s novel of the same name. It is set to premiere on HBO. The series is produced by Monkeypaw Productions, Bad Robot Productions, and Warner Bros.
Lovecraft Country follows “Atticus Black as he joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.”
