Fox is now casting new talent in Atlanta, Georgia for The Resident.

Casting directors are now casting talent to work on scenes filming on Sunday, November 26th in Atlanta, Georgia.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Young Man in Wheelchair – Caucasian looking male, 20’s looking age range, skinny or sickly looking, no visible tattoos, wheelchair will be provided. Work dates (11/30 and 12/6)

     

  • Man in Business Suit – Any ethnicity Male, 40’s looking age range, skinny and sickly looking, no visible tattoos, wardrobe will be provided. Work dates (12/1 and 12/6)

     

  • Woman in Hospital Gown – Any ethnicity female, 40’s looking age range, skinny and sickly looking, no visible tattoos. Work dates (12/1 and 12/6)

     

  • Older bald Man – Caucasian or Hispanic looking male, Any age range, must be completely bald looking, skinny and sickly looking, no visible tattoos, make-up will add a scar, work dates 11/29, 12/6)

     

  • Older Man with Walker, Young Woman on Bench, Middle-age Man in bathrobe – Male and Female submissions, any ethnicity, 20’s – 60’s looking age range, skinny and sickly looking, all props and wardrobe will be provided, no visible tattoos. Work dates (12/4, 12/5, 12/7)

About The Resident:

According to DeadlineThe Resident centers around Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal) a young doctor who begins his first day working with senior resident Conrad Hawkins who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.

**New Faces**
Brandi is in the office today Sunday Nov. 26th looking for new faces (meaning you have NEVER worked on the show THE RESIDENT) to go to an interview on Tuesday Nov. 28th and work multiple dates starting Thursday Nov. 30th thru Dec. 7th, playing dead patients (ghosts). You must be available to go to an interview on Tuesday Nov. 28th, and have open availability for the work dates (so you should be open to work anytime from Thurs Nov 30th thru the next Thur Dec. 7th, not including the weekend). There will be make-up involved, and there will be a higher rate. I don’t have location information yet, it will either be in Conyers or the Atlanta area, and I don’t have the rate information yet, so you should be open and willing to work in either area and for any rate.
The categories are listed below with the preliminary work dates, please read carefully, and ONLY submit for the category that you match.

If you have NEVER worked on the show THE RESIDENT, and you fit any of the descriptions above, and you are available to interview on Tuesday Nov. 28th, and available the work dates, and are ok with Conyers or Atlanta areas and open to any rate, and have no allergies to make-up, please send an e-mail with a current photo and stats (height and weight, etc) and contact info to [email protected], and put either GHOST or the more specific category (for example Older bald man) in the subject line.

Please no phone calls, and you only need to submit to one category, you will be considered for any and all categories that you fit. If you are selected, I will contact you tomorrow Monday Nov. 27th.
