Fox’s ‘Empire’ Season 2 Casting Call for Real Cops and Prisoners in Chicago

Fox’s ‘Empire’ is now casting real cops and female prisoners in Chicago, Illinois.

Fox’s hit TV series Empire is now casting background actors to play female prisoners in an episode filming on Tuesday, October 20th in Chicago, Illinois. Casting directors are looking for female actors, models, and talent that look tough, think “Orange is the New Black”. According to the casting call, Fox’s Empire will provide a pay bump for those who don’t have a car and will need to take metro to Joliet, Illinois.

Casting directors are also looking for real cops and police officers to work on a scene filming on Friday, October 23rd in Chicago, Illinois. Empire casting directors are “looking for people with real tactical experience as you will be conducting a “raid” type scene.”

‘Empire’ centers around a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders’ family as they fight for control of the company. The hour-long family drama was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, and stars Terrence Howardand Taraji P. Henson.

Prisoners Casting Call

CASTING CALL: Empire!
SHOOT DATE: Tuesday, 10/20
LOCATION: Joliet
RATE: $80/8
ROLES: FEMALE PRISONERS

**NOTE: We will be providing a bump in pay for those who do not have a car and will need to take a metra to Joliet. We will also be providing transportation from the train station and back to the train stattion at wrap.

Female, ages 18-65, Caucasian and Hispanic (We have filled all of our African American Roles), tough looks, no glamour. Think “Orange is the New Black”. You should send a photo of yourself looking the part.

RATE: $150/8 for 8 plus $25 bump
ROLES: REAL POLICE/SWAT

Real Police or Military, Male & Female, ages 21-50, all ethnicities, we are looking for people with real tactical experience as you will be condusting a “raid” type scene.
