Critical locations in the Irish capital, such as Copper Face Jacks, The Long Hall, and Kilmainham Jail, will be used for filming. We couldn’t be more honored to work with this talented, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into Season 3.”

In summary, the third season of Euphoria will be filmed in Dublin, Ireland, and other locations worldwide, including Singapore, New York, California, New Jersey, Vatican City, London, and Sicily, Italy. Zendaya is set to receive an astronomical payment of USD 1 million per episode for the third season of ‘Euphoria,’ a remarkable accomplishment demonstrating her tremendous value and importance.

Zendaya sets a tremendous example for young female actresses with her remarkable talent and accolades. Recently, she obtained two Emmy awards due to her stunning performance as Rue Bennett in the hit series Euphoria, proving that among a talented group of rising stars, Zendaya stands out from the rest.

As an essential component of the series, recent reports have suggested that Zendaya is projected to receive a whopping USD 1 million per episode for season three. According to Matthew Belloni of Puck, Zendaya has recently concluded a successful re-negotiation and positioned herself amongst the renowned cast members of Friends with her new salary. A remarkable feat, Zendaya recently became the youngest person ever to be nominated for an Emmy in the producing category at just 25 years old – and she also achieved executive producer status on the second season of her show.

Previously, Sydney Sweeney – one of the stars from Euphoria – has ardently proclaimed, “They don’t pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals. The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5% to my lawyer, 10% to my agents, and 3% or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage.” Belloni’s report also revealed that A-listers such as Zendaya, Michael Keaton on Dopesick, Jason Sudeikis on Ted Lasso, and Elisabeth Moss on Shining Girls are in the same seven-figure TV salary range. John Krasinski from Jack Ryan, who currently has the highest paycheck, is topping this list.

As HBO Max’s beloved show, Euphoria, continues to captivate fans worldwide with its unique story and characters’ development, it is thrilling to anticipate how Zendaya will shine even brighter in subsequent seasons.

The Warner Bros. Discovery corporation is engaging in litigation against Paramount Pictures concerning the streaming privileges of one of their most popular shows, South Park.

HBO’s “Euphoria” surpasses “Game of Thrones” As The Network’s Second-Most Watched Show.

The HBO show “Euphoria” is now second only to “Game of Thrones” in viewership, having recently surpassed the 2004 ratings.

The Zendaya-starring drama hit a series high with its Season 2 finale episode Sunday when it aired on HBO and HBO Max. Viewership for the “Euphoria” Season 2 premiere in the United States is approaching 19 million people.

The premiere episode of “Euphoria” Season 2 has drawn 16.3 million HBO subscribers, making it the most-watched season premiere in 18 years for HBO programs other than “Game of Thrones,” which attracted an average of 46 million viewers across its eighth and final season in 2019. (When Nielsen updated how it tracked HBO’s viewership in 2004, the pay TV channel introduced several streaming services, including HBO Go, HBO Now, and HBO Max, complicating comparisons of average viewership for programs that aired before that year and those that debuted after.)

Here are the average viewership numbers for each season of “Game of Thrones,” according to HBO: Season 1 – 9.3 million, Season 2 – 11.6 million, Season 3 – 14.4 million, Season 4 – 19.1 million, Season 5 – 20.2 million, Season 6 – 25.7million, Season 7- 32’8 and finally 46 in 8thseason. These conversions included views from linear content, on-demand, and other platforms now sunset, like HBO go And HBO Now.

HBO calculates viewership by counting its programming to 90 days after premiering across all platforms. HBO will monitor “Euphoria’s” growth until it reaches that 90-day mark, when a more accurate apples-to-apples comparison to “GoT” will be available.

“Euphoria” Season 1 averaged 6.6 million viewers during its first 90 days across all platforms.

On Sunday, “Euphoria” was once again the most popular HBO Max program in the United States for the seventh week in a row and the top series in Latin America and Europe for that period.

According to a report by Variety, published on February 1st, the average viewership for “Euphoria” increased by 100% following the release of only four episodes from its second season. The show also hit an all-time high when it aired against Super Bowl LVI on February 13th.

In addition, “Euphoria” is now said to be the most-tweeted-about show in America, with 34 million tweets credited to it.

The second season of “Euphoria” is about teenagers in East Highland who struggle with love, loss, and addiction. The final episode saw several of the season’s significant conflicts come to a head–some more violently than others.

Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow// Javon WaltonDominic Fike // Storm Reid and Austin Abrams all-star in the series.

“Euphoria” is directed and executive produced by Sam Levinson and written, produced, filmed, and edited by him. Kevin Turner, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Zendaya, Will Greenfield, Ashley Levinson, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Gary Lennon Mirit Toovi Tmira Yardeni Yoram Mokady are among the executive producers.

Maude Apatow, Who Stars In The TV show ‘Euphoria,’ Responded To Being Labeled A ‘nepotism baby.’

“Euphoria” actress Maude Apatow has rejected claims that her career success is due to nepotism, labeling herself a “nepotism baby.”

Apatow, the eldest daughter of director Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann, played high schooler Lexi Howard in HBO’s series. (HBO is a Warner Bros. Discovery subsidiary.) In recent years, she has appeared in several other projects after co-starring with her mother in her father’s films “Knocked Up” and “This Is 40.”

“I try not to let it get to me because I obviously understand that I’m in such a lucky position,” Apatow told Net-A-Porter. “A lot of people [in a similar position] have proven themselves over the years, so I’ve got to keep going and make good work.”

She continued: “It’s so early in my career, I don’t have much to show yet, but hopefully, one day, I’ll be really proud of the stuff I’ve done by myself.”

“Dad always reads what I write, but I have to be at a certain point. I’ll wait until I’m almost done and then get notes from him. I get annoyed because he’ll come up with a better idea, but he’s super helpful. So is my mom,” she said.

The third season of “Euphoria” is currently in the production process.

Last season’s storyline involving Apatow’s Lexi and Fezco [Angus Cloud] became a major subplot, culminating in a cliffhanger finale.

“I’m so scared for them!” Apatow told the publication. “I know nothing yet, but I can’t wait to see how it all goes down.”

At the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday, he joked about what might be in store for the show’s third season. There is no set release date yet, but it is most likely to come out sometime next year.

“Sam Levinson and I had some really deep conversations as of last weekend actually,” Colman said. “here he’s talking about the arcs of all the characters and what he wants to do to expand that, to actually re-examine at times. It’s an organism, and he wants it to keep shifting it in many ways, and I think he’s going to take some really big swings actually with Season 3. He’s someone who, once there’s an expectation of the show, he wants to smash that expectation because he truly is a consummate artist, and he wants to make sure he’s telling some really compelling storytelling. And just because we had some successes before with this season, he said, ‘Let’s not rely on that. Let’s move forward. I’m going to go deeper with these characters. I’m going to really peel away the layers of them and just get to the human heart.”

Domingo also discussed how it felt to be an Afro-Latino actor winning in his category. He spoke about his father’s side of the family, saying, “They’re from Belize and Guatemala, and all over Central America, and I feel very proud. I’m sure they’re screaming in the streets for me. They’re very proud of me being a part of this and representing not only Afro-Latinos but also representing humble people for West Philadelphia as well. You know, working class parents and step-fathers and mothers, so I think I represent so many of them so it feels really, really good.”

He spoke about his experience working closely with Zendaya over the past two seasons, revealing a genuine connection that began before they met.

“Zendaya and I have such an interesting history because I met her when she was about five or six years old when I was at the California Shakespeare Theatre,” he said. “One day, she was like, ‘You know, my mom used to run the box office at California Shakespeare? I used to love this actor who came in wearing all white on a motorcycle.’ That was me. We have such a connection, which is very deep and complex. It feels like we know each other for many, many, many years and many lifetimes.”

HBO Max Crashes Due to ‘Euphoria’ Season 2 Finale

The second season finale of Euphoria reportedly caused HBO Max to crash over the weekend.

According to reports, the HBO Max platform hit a spike in issues around 8:55 p.m. E.T. The season finale was going to premiere at 9 p.m. E.T. Those who attempted to watch HBO Max saw an error message: “Something Went Wrong. Sorry, we’re having trouble communicating with the service. Please close the app and try again.”

In a statement, WarnerMedia commented on the situation, “We’ve seen the tweets from some of our users who had trouble accessing HBO Max around 9 p.m. E.T. and are engaging directly to help get them back into the platform.” Approximately 30 minutes, HBO Max restored its platform, and complaints reached 52,000.

It is not the first time this has happened to HBO Max, but it demonstrates the immense popularity of HBO’s Euphoria.

According to Twitter, there have been 30 million tweets since the second season premiered in January, pointing to a 51% increase in engagement since Euphoria’s first season.

Meme culture is now the current norm with any significant series, but it is incredible to see how Euphoria has transformed the industry.

HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ Renewed for Third Season

The award-winning drama series Euphoria will return for a third season, HBO announced on February 4, 2022. The news arrives halfway through the second season of the hit show created by Sam Levinson.

In the second season, Zendaya reprised her role as Rue, a high school student struggling with drugs and her relationship with Hunter Schafer’s Jules. Season one actors appearing alongside Zendaya include Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Storm Reid and Austin Abrams.

Musician Dominic FIke made his acting debut in season two of Euphoria, playing Elliot.

“Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken season two to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart,” said Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming. “We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into season three.”

The first episode of Euphoria’s second season has garnered 14 million viewers across all platforms since its premiere on January 9, HBO reports.

Barbie Ferreira Refutes Claims of Walking Off Set and Clarifies Her Departure from ‘Euphoria’: There’s More to My Character Than Just Being the ‘Fat Best Friend’

On the “Armchair Expert” podcast, Barbie Ferreira from HBO’s Emmy-Award winning series “Euphoria” opened up about her departure before Season 3. In August of last year, Ferreira declared that she would depart from “Euphoria” and no longer portray the character Kat Hernandez. Her departure followed allegations that she had a falling out with “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson over the characterization of her character during Season 2. Viewers observed Kat’s narrative diminish in Season 2, prompting rumors that she had even left the set during an altercation with Levinson.

“So, for me, when people ask me about Season 2, it’s usually they come at me with, like, I was some sort of victim to Season 2, and I’m always like, ‘No, it’s okay, promise. It’s good,’” According to Ferreira on the podcast, “I kind of got sucked into this drama I never asked to be in and never talked about. I’m of the mindset that if it doesn’t exist, I won’t address it because then I’m adding fuel to it. It’s taken on a life of its own. Don’t believe everything you read.”

“I did not walk off set,” Ferreira addressed the speculation. “I sprained my ankle once and had to get an X-ray. Maybe that’s what they mean?”

Ferreira confirmed that her departure from the show was a mutual decision because her storyline ended.

“I don’t think there was a place for [Kat] to go,” With conviction Ferreira declared. “I think there were places she could have gone. I just don’t think it would have fit into the show. I don’t know if it would do her justice, and I think both parties knew that. I wanted to be able not to be the fat best friend. I don’t want to play that, and I think they didn’t want that either.”

Ferreira remarked that it takes roughly nine months to film a season of “Euphoria,” and she suggested that for most of this period, she could not take on any other projects. From a professional perspective, it would be unwise for her to abandon nearly one year of filming on a show where her role had become marginal.

“I feel like with Season 2 and certain parts of it, I felt was a kind of a struggle for both parties,” Ferreira remarked thoughtfully. “Sam, me…it was a struggle to find the continuation of her. So that was actually really hurtful watching it and seeing the fans get upset. I just felt like maybe it’s like I overstayed my welcome a little bit. So, it felt good to be like, ‘Okay, I get to not worry about this, and we both don’t get to worry about this’ because it’s exhausting.”

Accordingly, Ferreira concluded. “Sam writes for, like, things that he relates to. I don’t think he relates to Kat. I like Kat, so I get to go on my path. At first, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m a flop. I’m a loser.’ It has been a good thing.”

Get ready for more drama, excitement, and electrifying moments when “Euphoria” Season 3 begins filming later this year – with an anticipated return to HBO in 2024!
