CW is holding an open casting call for actors to work on the new series ‘Containment’ as it films in Atlanta, Georgia.
Containment is an upcoming The CW series, based on the Belgian TV series Cordon. The show was officially ordered as a series on May 7, 2015. Containment shot its pilot episode over the course of three weeks on location in Atlanta, Georgia. Several local extras were cast for roles in various scenes.
‘Containment’ follows an epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, leaving the large city quarantined and those stuck on the inside fighting for their lives. The drama tells the story of loved ones torn apart, and how the society that grows inside the cordon reveals both the devolution of humanity and the birth of unlikely heroes.
Background Artists Casting, the extras casting company for popular shows such as ‘The Vampire Diaries’ is looking for extras to work our upcoming episode. Shoot dates will be August 10th through August 28th in Atlanta, Georgia.

FIFTH GRADERS — Boys and Girls, any ethnicity, age 10-11 years old, please include acting/set experience in submission
BROTHERS — Males, any Ethnicity, age 6 – 10 — please note any acting and/or set experience, real brothers are a plus
TEENAGERS — Any Ethnicity, 18+ to play 15-17 — please note in your submission if you are comfortable with kissing on camera
BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS — ages 25 – 55, open ethnicity, submit photos in business professional attire
POLICE/MILITARY types – please note if you have police or military experience
DOCTOR/MEDICAL WORKERS – please note if you have medical experience
REPORTERS/CAMERAMEN – please note if you have reporting and/or camera op experience

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be mindful of the photos you submit. These photos are sometimes sent to the Directors and Producers to make choices. A lot of times we can’t submit people because their photo isn’t appropriate for the role submitted for, we can’t clearly see the person in the picture, picture is of poor quality, etc. A current candid photo taken on a camera phone in good lighting is sufficient majority of the time.
