‘Chicago PD’ is Now Holding Auditions for Featured Roles

NBC’s Chicago PD is now casting featured background acting roles in Chicago, Illinois. Producers are looking for talents to play featured grieving parents, and Asian actresses for a date scene. Auditions will take place next week and filming will take place in early February in Chicago, Illinois.

NBC’s Chicago PD centers on the Intelligence team located at the District 21 of the Chicago Police department. This team fights the city’s major offenses including organized crime, drug trafficking, and high profile murders.

**NBC’s Chicago PD – Featured Background Roles Casting**

SUBMISSION TITLE: “PROGNOSIS”
ROLES: Featured Grieving Parents: 1 Male/1 Female, Age Range: 50s-early 60s, any ethnicity
AUDITION: There will be an audition with the Director on Tuesday, January 31st at ~4:00PM, at Cinespace. (*Those selected for the audition process will be contacted separately on Monday 1/30 afternoon.)
FILMS: Film date is still TBD; will be filmed between Feb. 6th-17th. Applicants must have a flexible schedule to accommodate any schedule changes.
SPECS: Seeking a Male & Female, Ages: 50s-early 60s, any ethnicity to play our featured grieving parents in a hospital scene. *Minorities strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants should have solid, non-verbal acting experience; as the scene may revolve around worried parents at the hospital receiving ‘good news’ from the doctors about their child’s condition. If you have one, please attach an acting reel and/or acting resume when submitting. Please have your submission in by Mon, Jan. 30th – as we will be reviewing the submissions that morning, in order to invite selected applicants to the Tuesday audition. The selected actors must also be available to attend a mandatory wardrobe fitting prior to the film date, during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.
PAY RATE: $180 for up to 8 hours of work and time and one half for anything after 8; IF fit before the film date = +$25 Fitting Bump added to your first day of work

ROLES: Featured Asian, Female Lunch Date; Age Range: 20s
AUDITION: There will be an audition with the Director on Tuesday, January 31st at ~4:00PM, at Cinespace. (*Those selected for the audition process will be contacted separately on Monday 1/30 afternoon.)
FILMS: Film date is still TBD; will be filmed between Feb. 6th-17th. Applicants must have a flexible schedule to accommodate any schedule changes.
SPECS: Seeking an Asian female, Age: 20s, to play a featured dinner date to this episode’ suspect. Applicants should have solid, non-verbal acting experience; as the scene revolves around the police arresting her date in front of everyone in the restaurant. If you have one, please attach an acting reel and/or acting resume when submitting. Please have your submission in by Mon, Jan. 30th – as we will be reviewing the submissions that morning, in order to invite selected applicants to the Tuesday audition. The selected actor must also be available to attend a mandatory wardrobe fitting prior to the film date, during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.
