CBS television series ‘Under the Dome’ Season 2 is back!

Producers and casting directors for CBS’s hit television series ‘Under the Dome’ are back for the new season filming in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Casting directors will be holding an open casting call for various roles in the television series. NCasting is the lead extras casting company behind the project and they posted a notice seeking background actors, stand-ins and photo doubles to work on the television series.

Open Casting Call Details

The open casting call will be held Sunday, February 23rd from 5:30pm-10 pm at North 23rd Street Suite 207 Wilmington, North Carolina.
Talents must have full availability for certain roles on the project including actors that are they are specifically looking to be the stand-ins for the lead actors in the series. Compensation is 125/10 and time and half after 10 hours. They are looking for local talents to work on the project since, they will not be compensating actors for travel. To submit for extra work or stand-in, bring a headshot and a full body shot that is 4x6in in size because, casting directors will not be taking any photos. They will also be accepting headshots for various roles by e-mail. So, don’t worry if you are unable to attend the open casting call.

CBS Under the Dome is based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel about a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by a massive transparent dome. UNDER THE DOME stars Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Dean Norris, Natalie Martinez, Britt Robertson, Alexander Koch, Colin Ford, Nicholas Strong, Jolene Purdy and Aisha Hinds. UNDER THE DOME is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television. Neal Baer, Stephen King, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Stacey Snider, Jack Bender and Brian K. Vaughan, who wrote the television adaptation, will serve as executive producers.
