Date:

Producers for the upcoming ‘Batman vs. Superman’ feature film, Man of Steel 2 is now hiring crew for the production in Detroit, Michigan.

The Michigan Film Commission announced on their website that producers have selected Detroit as the filming location for the project. That means , ,  productions are currently hiring crew members to fill various roles in the project.

Producers will most likely need make-up artists, grips, camera operators, hair stylists, and wardrobe professionals.

The new feature film centers on The Man of Steel as he faces off against the Dark Knight.

It is rumored that Bryan Cranston, Mark Strong, Denzel Washington, Idris Elba and Joaquin Phoenix were considered for Lex Luthor. But it is confirmed that Amy Adams will portray Lois Lane, Henry Cavill will be Superman, Gal Gadot will act as Wonder Woman and Ben Affleck will portray Batman.

Given that Man of Steel has already made over $650 milion worldwide, it is little to no surprise that director Zach Snyder and screenwriter David Goyer would not be returning for the sequel. The film has not officially announced a state date, but Warner Bros. has confirmed that filming will begin this year and will be hitting theaters on July 17, 2015.
