ABC ‘American Crime’ Television pilot is still casting talent to work in the new production filming in Austin, Texas.
On Location Casting is looking for background actors to portray uniform police officers, detectives, police station personnel, nurses, and doctors. Casting directors are also looking for a female actress to work as a stand-in for the actress Caitlan Gerard.Â
American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics.
The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.
