ABC’s new series ‘American Crime‘ casting call for extras in Atlanta, Georgia
American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics. The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.
Casting directors for ABC’s new series ‘American Crime‘ is currently seeking extras to play Juvenile inmates, drug dealers, and elderly couples for scenes filming in Austin, Texas.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC series ‘American Crime’ for INTERVIEW on either Tuesday 7/22/14 morning or Thursday 7/24/14 afternoon -AND- WORK on TUESDAY 8/5/14.
*MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY!! (Kids can use parents TX ID for this) SUCH as TXDL, TXID, TEXAS COLLEGE ID, OR TX Voters registration card
Pay rate for Featured EXTRAS is $72.00 for 8 hours ($9.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 7-10 business days AFTER you work.
We do NOT have any Call Times yet so you would need to be available ALL DAY/evening. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Location is in the AUSTIN, TX area.
*FEATURED EXTRAS*:
JUVENILE INMATES: male, all ethnicities, age range 10-17 years old, tough for your age, bit of an attitude. Will need a Parent or Guardian that can be on set all day with Minor.
*FEATURED EXTRAS*:
ELDERLY COUPLE: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 60s-80s, should look your age but have some vitality, interesting types. Prefer REAL Couples but will accept individual submissions and create a couple as needed.
SLICK DRUG DEALER DUDE: male, Caucasian, age range 21-30, slick, hip, type of guy you might see in an ‘ultra-lounge’ dealing
