ABC New TV Series, ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ is Hiring Dancers, Extras and Kid Actors

New Orleans, Louisiana Casting Call – ABC ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ Casting Call for dancers, extras, and kid actors in New Orleans.

Based on the based on Lily Koppel’s best-selling novel, ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ tells the real story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race.

Casting directors are looking for a ton of extras to work on several scenes filming in New Orleans, Louisiana. Producers are looking for Caucasian men and women in addition to African American men with short hair.

ABC is also casting a 2 to 4 year old girl to play the kid of one of the main characters in the TV series. Producers are hiring a dance instructor to advise, teach, and cast dancers. They are looking for someone who is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at 1950’s early-twist style dancing.

Astronaut Wives Club – Fittings on Tuesday 10/14 through Friday 10/17 to Work on Tuesday 10/21 in New Orleans. [email protected]

  • – Caucasian Women 20’s-60’s with Natural colored shoulder length or shorter hair (or willing to go get it cut that short). Size 2-8 and 26-31 waist.
  • – Caucasian Men 20’s-60’s willing to have hair cut as 1960’s style crew cut. 5’8-6’1?, 38-44 coat, 30-38 waist.
  • – African American Men 20’s-40’s with short hair (no bald). 5’8-6’1?, 36-44 coat, 28-38 waist.

Astronaut Wives Club – 2-4 year old Blonde Female to play the kid of one of the main characters. This will work a sporadically from October through February.[email protected]

Astronaut Wives Club – We need someone to be an on-set dance tech to advise / teach background and possibly cast as well. You must be extremely knowledgeable and skilled at 1950’s early-twist style dancing. This will work on Wednesday 10/22 & Thursday 10/23 in Metairie.
