Want to audition for a role on Dirty Dancing?
ABC’s Dirty Dancing is now casting teens, lifeguards, and resort staff for an upcoming scene filming in North Carolina.
Casting directors are looking for Ivy League types, upscale resort guests, and African American men and women to play resort staff in the new Dirty Dancing TV movie.
About Dirty Dancing:
The new ‘Dirty Dancing’ remake will be a three-episode TV miniseries on ABC. The TV miniseries will feature a “night of singing and dancing as we update the classic film ‘Dirty Dancing’ as a three-hour event.”
According to our previous report, Dirty Dancing will will create 1,225 jobs in North Carolina including 900 extras, 30 cast members and 225 “crew/full time” jobs.

* 4 Caucasian Male Preppy Lifeguard types. Should not have tattoos, piercing or plus. Think Ivy League types. Must be available for filming on April 14th.
* 1 of Lifeguards MUST be a REAL Lifeguard and available to film on the 19th & 18th as well in Hendersonville area.
* Also seeking 5 Caucasian Teens to portray upscale resort guest.
MUST be good swimmers and comfortable in boat or doing water activities. Must be available on 19th & 20th for filming in Hendersonville area.
* Still searching for Hispanic/Latino and African American Musicans in 20’s available for filming the 27th & 28th.
* Also still seeking African American and Hispanic/Latino Males and Females in 20’s available to portray resort Staff thru out filming. Must be available as needed thru out the show.
