Casting directors are looking for clowns to work on an upcoming non-union kitchen appliance commercial campaign filming in Toronto, Canada. Casting directors are casting the following roles:
- Clown: Male, 25+ years old. Not creepy or sad. The quintessential birthday party clown. Think Eric Stonestreet as “Cam” in Modern Family

Roles
Clown: Male, 25+ years old. Not creepy or sad. The quintessential birthday party clown. Think Eric Stonestreet as “Cam” in Modern Family (see reference photo).
*Pays approximately $3,000 per individual if selected
Details & Submission Information

1. Your name, age and a brief bio about your previous clown experience.
2. Photo(s) of yourself in full clown wear – if possible (Where we can clearly see your face. Ideally no hats or sunglasses)
3. Your primary contact information (phone number & email address) *If you are a represented actor, please include your resume & agent’s contact information
4. Please write ‘PROJECT APPLIANCE in subject line of e-mail, along with your name and age. (E.G. PROJECT APPLIANCE – Jeffrey Smith – age 40)
Submissions are due by: Friday July 21st by 5pm
(However the earlier you submit the better your chances!)
You must be available for these key dates:
AUDITION: Monday – July 24th
CALLBACK: Wednesday – July 26th
WARDROBE: Monday – July 31st
SHOOT: August 1st-4th (TBD)
