Comedy Central TV Pilot ‘South Side’ Casting Call for a Museum Scene

Comedy Central TV pilot South Side is now casting extras for a museum scene in Chicago, Illinois.

Casting directors are looking for kids between the ages of 9 to 12 to play museum patrons to work on a scene filming on Saturday, July 15th in Chicago, Illinois. Casting directors are casting the following types:

  • MUSEUM PATRONS: MALE/FEMALE, AGES 9-12, CAUCASIAN, ASIAN, HISPANIC

About South Side:

Written by Bashir Salahuddin, Diallo Riddle and Sultan Salahuddin, this workplace comedy is set in and around a rent-to-own business on the South Side of Chicago (where the Salahuddins grew up). All three writers will have roles on the show. The show will be executive produced by Bashir Salahuddin and Riddle as well as executive produced and directed by Michael Blieden.

SHOOT DATES: SATURDAY, JULY 15TH
RATE: $150/8
LOCATION: MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY, CHICAGO

MUSEUM PATRONS: MALE/FEMALE, AGES 9-12, CAUCASIAN, ASIAN, HISPANIC
You must have a valid work permit and be willing to complete and return a night waiver by 10am CST (will be e-mailed to you, if selected – but we have also attached, and if you are able, please download, complete only your child’s information, and sign as parent/guardian, and send with night waiver)

If you are interested and available on JULY 15th please send an email with the following to [email protected]:
1) In the subject line of the email write KIDS AT MUSEUM
2) In the body of the email include your: name, age, height, weight, clothing measurements (jacket, shirt, pants), shoe size phone number, email, and zip code in which you currently reside. (for each family member)
3). Confirm that you have filled out the SURVEY pinned to the top of our Facebook page. (If you have not done so then fill it out now).
4) Attach (2) two current photos, 1 close up and 1 full body taken in good lit lighting, if you have a picture of yourself in a choir robe please send that also. Do not cover your face. No hats, no sunglasses, no filters, etc.
5) For minors, please attach a copy of the work permit and confirm you will be able to return the completed night waiver to us by 10AM.
