Video auditions have become extremely popular in Hollywood. Actors can easily record an audition from the comfort of their own home and casting directors can review the auditions at their leisure. With this new age of efficiency, it also allows for actors to share their video auditions with other people including non-actors. But, should you actually get criticism on your audition from a friend, family member, or acting coach? In this great video by Richard Warner and Arvold Casting Associate Michael Duni, the two film industry professionals discuss whether that's a good idea, and if so, whom to ask and where to draw the line. And "discuss the necessity of still trusting your own instincts."
