Should you move to LA for acting? 10 things you need to know.

One of the most common questions we get from aspiring actors is, if they should move to Los Angeles in order to become an actor? It’s a difficult question and many actors risk everything to work in Hollywood and at the end of the day is it worth it? Well, casting director, Erica Arvold from AMC’s hit TV series TURN: Washington’s Spies share some amazing acting tips for aspiring actors.

Essentially, Erica Arvold explains that actors should build up their resume in order to land bigger roles in Los Angeles, California. “Work until you are busting at the seams” and are booking several shows in the city you are currently living in. Or, move to Atlanta, Georgia in order to find more acting jobs, before moving to Los Angeles.
