He further unveiled the planned release date for the movie, stating, "The target is Christmas 2025." This announcement comes after Disney's earlier declaration in June, which indicated a delay in releasing the subsequent three Avatar sequels, extending the timeline to 2031. Although the original plan was to launch each new Avatar movie at two-year intervals, with the third installment expected in 2024, the revised schedule now sets the premiere of Avatar 3 for December 19, 2025, followed by Avatar 4 on December 21, 2029, and Avatar 5 on December 19, 2031. This means the final film will debut 22 years following the original Avatar.</span></p>
