<h2>Nic Cage and Tim Burton almost made a 'Superman' movie and was later canned.</h2>
Production companies spend millions on projects that may seem promising but never actually make it to theaters. There was once a Superman film, starring Nicolas Cage, and written by Kevin Smith and directed by Tim Burton that seemed to make it extremely interesting before it was later cancelled.

The documentary The Death of Superman Lives centers on the doomed production and the movie's first trailer was recently released.

The Death of Superman Lives, a Superman suit that included plastic armor and a strange lightning effects. The whole experience seems pretty bizarre and you can understand why executives canned the project.

The documentary is currently crowdfunding to raise funds needed to finish, and it looks like the final product of the movie will be off the charts. There's a world between creative ideas and "this finished film is great." This documentary exposes that world between those statements.

<h2>Casting directors and producers for Tim Burton's new feature film are holding a nationwide casting call for a lead role.</h2>
Tim Burton's new feature film is based on "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" a horror novel for teens and young adults. That means&nbsp;"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children"&nbsp;critically acclaimed graphic novel is being turned into a movie and Tim Burton is searching across the country for actors for a lead role in the movie.

The movie rights were sold to 20th Century Fox and the script is being written by Tim Burton and Jane Goldman.

Producers are hoping to find a teen (18) who can fill the lead role and have opened up casting nationwide.

The role of Jacob is now being cast and the role is that of a 17 year old but casting directors are hoping to get someone who is 18 to fill the part.

The deadline for submissions is April 18th and it is open to the US. Video auditions are now being accepted and those interested in submitting for the role will need to create a video audition tape. The film will begin production in London this summer.

Tim Burton/20th Century Fox Open Casting Call for Lead Role

<h2>If you have missed Beetlejuice, you will not have to wait much longer to get your Beetlejuice fix!</h2>
The franchise has decided to return to the big screen.

It is rumored that Tim Burton might return as the director for this project.

Seth Grahame has written the script and will produce it.

Tim Burton also said that he does not really care for sequels, so he anticipated that second time he will develop a completely different type of character. But expect to see Michael Keaton in the sequel as well!

<h4>Casting directors are now casting for an upcoming Tim Burton's "Big Eyes" film shooting this August in San Francisco.</h4>
Beau Bonneau Casting is seeking SF Bay Area local Women with Ear to Chin Length Hair in their 20s – early 40s for paid extra work on "Big Eyes" a Tim Burton film shooting August 28–30 in San Francisco. This is a period film reflecting the late 1950s – 1960.

Background Actors will work 1 day only and must look authentic to the time portraying Beatnik, Artist and Bohemian types. Everyone must be photo approved by the Director (in early August) and able to attend a wardrobe fitting in SF between 8/19 - 8/23. 

The film’s story focuses on the artistic coupling of Margaret (Amy Adams) and Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz).

Walter became famous in the 1950s and 60s for paintings featuring saucer-eyed kids, though it was the shy Margaret who really did the work. Margaret eventually tired of the misplaced credit, which led to a divorce and a heated court battle to prove authorship of the paintings.

Women with Short, Ear to Chin Length Hair in their 20s - early 40s Needed for "Big Eyes" Feature Film Extra Work Aug. 28-30 in SF
"Big Eyes" is a late 1950s-early 1960s Period Film Directed by Tim Burton

We are only seeking women with ear to chin length or slightly longer above-the-shoulder hair with natural hair colors and styles. NO chunky highlights, artificial colors or ultra-modern cuts. Women will be asked to set their hair with rollers the night before or morning of the shoot. Please note: period costumes are average-sized; extraordinarily tall, petite or large physiques may not work. There will be cigarette smoking on set to reflect the era and most scenes will be filmed outdoors.

Hours/Rates/Employment: Film shoots are long, often 12-14 hrs. We never know the start time until the evening before and it’s usually very early, 6am or earlier. You must be avail and conflict free from early morning to late evening. Union members are paid scale. Non Union Extras are paid $84.40 for up to 8hrs plus overtime at time and ½ based on SF min. wage $10.55/hr. Wardrobe fitting rate is $21 for up to 2 hrs. I-9 paperwork will be filled out at fitting. On Monday, Netflix debuted Wednesday's first preview for its Addams Family spinoff series.
They revealed the series on the first day of Netflix's Geeked Week. Although little is known about the show in the 30-second teaser, it has been confirmed that Jenna Ortega will play Wednesday. Tim Burton will direct and executive produce the series, his first major television project, and his foreboding aesthetic will most likely be on display.
The eight-episode series will start Wednesday, who will attend Nevermore Academy.
"Wednesday is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting 16-year-old Wednesday Addams' years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Season One will follow Wednesday as she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago &mdash; all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore."

Disney has made billions remaking cartoons. Tim Burton's reimagined Alice in Wonderland made $1.02 billion. Angelina Jolie's&nbsp;Maleficent&nbsp;made a stunning 758.4 million worldwide.

Tim Burton is currently working on&nbsp;Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children&nbsp;in Tampa Bay, Florida.

"WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANYONE WANT TO MAKE A PIECE OF SHIT SEQUEL TO A PIECE OF SHIT ORIGINAL PRODUCTION THAT SUCKED THE FIRST TIME AND WHAT DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS ARE GOING TO SPEND THEIR HARD EARNED CASH TO GO SEE THIS PIECE OF SHIT IF IT EVER ACTUALLY DOES SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY?"  

Hell,  judging by past/recent Hollywood history/events, there probably won't be any black people in the movie anyway.

Tim Burton says that the 'Beetlejuice' sequel is "closer than ever". A&nbsp;Beetlejuice&nbsp;sequel is something that fans have been hoping for years and now director, Tim Burton says that filming for the movie is going to start shortly.

During an interview with IGN to promote his December 25th release&nbsp;Big Eyes,&nbsp;Tim Burton was asked about the sequel to the 1988 original, which starred Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, both of whom have expressed interest in reprising their roles in a new movie.

New information about what the movie might have done to Superman, suggests that the world might have been better off without the movie ever being made. &#147;I was very much taken by Tim's approach, which was that Kal-El was not told by Jor-El, before he got put in the little spaceship, who he was or where he came from,&#148; Gilroy <a href="http://www.indiewire.com/article/dan-gilroy-on-the-pain-of-tim-burtons-failed-superman-20141030">told&nbsp;IndieWire</a> about the project. &#147;So poor little Kal-El, when he winds up on earth, he has no freaking idea where he came from. His biggest fear is that he's an alien.&#148;

&#147;Our Superman was in therapy at the beginning of the film,&#148; he went on, saying this his relationship with Lois Lane is in trouble because &#147;he can't commit because he doesn't know who he is or what is going on with him. He's hoping that he has some physiological condition that gives him these powers but that he's still human. It becomes very apparent, though, early in the script, when Lex Luthor uncovers the remnants of the spacecraft, he suddenly realizes &#150; &#145;Oh my god, I'm an alien.&#146; It was all about the psychological trauma of it. I loved it.&#148;

This version of Superman is very much a different kind of superhero than anyone could have ever expected. It is more reminiscent of the Dark Knight rather than Superman.

The movie didn't happen, he suggests, because of the failure of the other Warner Bros. movies.&nbsp;&#147;Every big movie that was coming out was bombing and failing," he said. "When it came time to step up and bankroll our script, they didn't have the financial wherewithal or desire."

Or, maybe the world was not ready for Nicolas Cage to play Clark Kent?
