<h2>Here's the newest member of the SNL Cast, Pete Davidson</h2>
Saturday Night Live already removed several members of the cast after a very lackluster season. John Milhiser, Noël Wells, and Brooks Wheelan are gone, and Nasim Pedrad left the series to star on Mulaney. 

A 14-member cast will include Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che. Now, according to Deadline, Saturday Night Live has hired 20 year old standup comedian Pete Davidson as a feature player. Did we mention he is only 20 years old!?

Peacock has just unleashed the teaser for Pete Davidson's upcoming Bupkis show!
Pete Davidson's life is about to become a TV series that takes his real-life experiences and infuses them with an exaggerated flair. Each episode will be 30 minutes long, as reported by Variety magazine. Get ready for the wild ride! Bringing his unique worldview to life, the unedited plot of this series is composed of eight episodes that are sure to delight viewers.
The clip starts with an array of tabloid headlines about Davidson, after which he is heard saying... &ldquo;I googled myself yesterday. People think I&rsquo;m, like, a joke for some reason.&rdquo; Immediately after, Davidson meets Joe Pesci in a diner to phone his fictional grandson. &ldquo;They think you&rsquo;re a joke because you are a joke.&rdquo; Davidson's trailer continues with an invigorating montage of the comedian and his star-studded guest stars. NBC announced today that Pete Davidson, a longtime cast member of Saturday Night Live, will be getting his TV show. Peacock has made a deal for Bupkis, a half-hour live-action comedy that Davidson wrote himself and will star in. The show is executive produced by SNL head Lorne Michaels. After they had taken out the project to market in March, NBCU's streaming service acquired it in a competitive situation with a straight-to-series order.

Davidson is teaming up with Dave Sirus and Judah Miller to produce a comical, relatable series called Bupkis. The writing trio plans to sprinkle in absurdist elements that Davidson has become known for throughout his career.
Davidson's show, which has been likened to Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm, is anticipated to showcase Davidson's true persona with its R-rated storytelling. Discussions have already begun with A-list celebrities for the ensemble cast around Davidson.
Bupkis is executive produced by Davidson, Sirus, and Miller, as well as Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David of Broadway Video. The series is being produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Davidson, who started as a very young cast member of SNL, making only occasional appearances on "Weekend Update" has become one of the most recognizable faces in sketch comedy. He often makes headlines for his work relationships, most recently with Kim Kardashian. Davidson is finishing his eighth season on SNL, and for the past few years, he has managed to balance NBC's series while developing a successful feature film career.

Bee (Maria Bakalova) goes to a party with her wealthy girlfriend Sophie (Amandla Stenberg), who hangs out with a group of internet users known to be &ldquo;nihilistic.&rdquo; an official description reads. &ldquo;When a group of rich 20-somethings plans a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.&rdquo;
The film stars Pete Davidson, Amandla Stenberg, Myha&rsquo;la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, and Lee Pace alongside Bakalova and Stenberg. Reijn&rsquo;s second project will be a slasher movie after her directorial debut in 2019 with Instinct.
The film, written by Sarah DeLappe and directed by David Hinojosa and Ali Herting, debuted at the South by Southwest Film Festival 2022. They created the screenplay based on a short story by Kristen Roupenian that was first published in The New Yorker in 2017.
The film &lsquo;Bodies, Bodies, Bodies&rsquo; is scheduled to be released in select theaters on August 5 before expanding to a wider audience on August 12. Check out the trailer below.

They've already written a sequel to It. The truth, they say, is more astonishing than fiction. Take a look at Pete Davidson's life, for example. The comic actor has an exciting existence. He tends to either talk about or portray himself on SNL. He's a magnet for women who have dated everyone in the world (according to Kanye West), or so it seems. Davidson is also brutally open about his mental health issues and drug addiction, which he has spoken about candidly in interviews.

Davidson will play a character based on his real-life who is addicted to drugs and women in the show. The series will be produced by Judd Apatow, who has worked on other comedies such as "Girls" and "The Office."
He might be an aspiring actor or a performer in general, but his approach to this line of work is not without its quirks. His name may refer to the fact that he's looking for something better than nothing. For example, one way to interpret it is that he's working on a comedy series where he portrays a fictionalized version of himself. That's a pretty ambitious goal, but at the same time, it's one that he's probably up for. After all, he has nothing to lose.
This series sounds like it will be interesting, and I'm curious to see how it turns out. In the meantime, I'll continue to follow Davidson on SNL and in other projects. I'm sure he has some great things in store for us. It's being compared to Curb Your Enthusiasm, but it also sounds quite a bit darker. Deadline says it's been described as a "raw, unflinching, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson's real life," which will "include a mixture of grounded storytelling with absurd elements depicting an unfiltered view through Pete's eyes."
Of course, life isn't always amusing for Davidson. There is sadness in the laughter. His father, a firefighter who perished during the 9/11 attacks when he was seven years old, was killed in action. He's battled mental illness before. His humor and speeches frequently focus on attempting to discover the humor in his sometimes difficult existence because of his addiction to drugs and women.
