Civil Rights Museum Casting Call for African American Actors for Principal Roles in Virginia

The series is about 3 gay friends living in San Francisco and features Jonathan Groff (SMASH).

Acccording to the Huffington Post, Groff will play a video game designer named Patrick, who’s looking for love on OKCupid.

“The show hopefully will express all facets of gay life,” he said. “We’re all different types of people. There’s lots of people who have anonymous sex. There’s also people looking for love. There’s people looking for an open relationship. There are also the queens. There are those you wouldn’t know were gay. It’s the gay experience.”

HBO's 'Looking' Casting Call for Upscale Type Non-Union Extras in San Francisco 

<h2>Atlanta Casting Call for The CW’s “The Originals” currently filming in the Atlanta area.</h2>
Casting directors are seeking actors to work on non-speaking, featured roles in The CW's "The Originals".

A spin-off from <i>The Vampire Diaries</i> and set in New Orleans, <i>The Originals</i> centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt).

It was revealed during the backdoor pilot, aired on April 25, 2013, that recurring werewolf character Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is pregnant with Klaus’ child.

Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans. Klaus departed from the city after being chased down by his father Mikael, while it was being constructed and Marcel took charge. As Klaus has returned after many years, his ego has provoked him to become the king of the city. “Every King needs an heir” says Klaus, accepting the unborn child. The child is a first to be born to a hybrid (part vampire, part werewolf).

The CW's 'The Originals' Casting Call for Featured Roles in Atlanta

Written by Brian Bird and Reinhard Denke, and based on Ashley Smith’s book, “An Unlikely Angel”, <em>Captive</em> is based on the true events of an escaped prisoner who takes revenge on the people who put him in jail and takes a young woman hostage.

Oyelowo will play the convict, Brian Nichols, while Mara will play Smith, the woman Nichols takes hostage.  Leonor Varela (<em>Dallas</em>) and Mimi Rogers (<em>Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery</em>) round out the cast.  <em>Captive</em> is scheduled to begin principal photography this month.

CAPTIVE is a thriller based on true events that occurred in Atlanta, Ga., on March 11, 2005.

Brian Nichols (Oyelowo) breaks out of the courthouse jail and shoots dead the judge assigned to his case as well as a court reporter, sheriff’s deputy, and FBI officer.

While eluding a statewide manhunt, Nichols takes Ashley Smith (Mara), a single mother struggling with meth addiction, hostage in her own apartment.
