<h2>Filming for FX's Atlanta season 2 casting is now underway.</h2>
Written by and starring Donald Glover, who himself grew up in the titular city, FX’s Atlanta follows two cousins on their way up through the Atlanta rap scene whose opposing views on art versus commerce, success and race will make their quest anything but easy. Glover will also act as the show’s executive producer, along with Paul Simms (Girls, Flight of the Conchords), and Dianne McGunigle.

According to IMDB, FX's Atlanta's casting director is <a href="http://feldsteinpariscasting.com/">Feldstein and Paris Casting</a>, the casitng company behind several hit TV shows including Stranger Things and Sleepy Hollow. Recently, the casting company sat down with Meals4Monologues and discussed their acting process. According to the video, the casting directors approach each project by having a "strong belief that by combining their efforts they are able to see more talent and provide the best options in every casting situation, to put together the best possible cast for each project they work on."

Atlanta Casting Call for a MAJOR Speaking Role

<h2>20th Century Fox is now casting speaking roles for an upcoming feature film.</h2>
Casting directors are still looking for&nbsp;for 12 to 14-year-old teen actors to work on a major motion picture for 20th Century Fox. Producers are looking for teen actors, all ethnicities, who are &#147;scrappy, spirited and athletic&#148; to work on a new movie filming this August 2017.

Details for the production have not been released. However, <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/news/now-filming-in-georgia/">Disney+ is now filming "Architect" in Atlanta, Georgia</a>. According to <a href="https://insidethemagic.net/2019/12/disney-plus-loki-working-title-revealed-kc1/">reports</a>, "Architect" is the working title for the upcoming LOKI TV series. The upcoming Disney+ series will star Tom Hiddleston as he reprises his role as the Asgardian trickster god, Loki. The limited series will center around Loki as his version from the record-breaking 2019 film, Avengers: Endgame, who used the Space Stone to escape his capture by the Avengers.
Feldstein Paris Company is known for casting some of the biggest movies including Guardians of the Galaxy, Stranger Things, Logan Lucky, The Darkest Minds, and many more. According to Tara Feldstein’s IMDB page, she has a “keen eye for talent and tireless devotion to her craft has allowed her to become one of the youngest and most successful casting directors in the region.”
This news comes after <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/news/disney-focus-on-streaming/">Disney announced a reorganization and focus on streaming.</a> Disney is making a calculated move toward streaming. “I would not characterize it as a response to COVID,” CEO Bob Chapek told <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/12/disney-reorganizes-to-focus-on-streaming-direct-to-consumer.html">CNBC</a>. “I would say COVID accelerated the rate at which we made this transition, but this transition was going to happen anyway.”
Recently, Disney pushed its theatrical releases, including Marvel’s Black Widow, to next year. Mulan dropped online, without impacting sales, the studio plans on doing the same thing with Pixar film Soul, which will now hit theaters on Disney+ in December.

Disney+ TV Show Casting Search for Speaking Roles

<h2 class="p1">Do you want to become an actor? Well, you may want to move to <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/atlanta/">Atlanta</a>.</h2>
The casting company behind <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/stranger-things/">Stranger Things</a>, <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/ozark/">Ozark</a>, and Atlanta, revealed that many Georgia actors are auditioning for nearly every day.
In a recent <a href="https://www.ajc.com/blog/radiotvtalk/paris-feldstein-casting-making-its-mark-major-atlanta-shows/FluBYaidc3NulhZPpNTyyO/">interview</a>, Atlanta’s <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/feldstein-paris-casting/">Feldstein Paris Casting</a> shared how Georgia’s film industry has changed in past years. They began by explaining how they discovered Shannon Purser, a local actress from Roswell Georgia, to play the role of Barb.
“We had to been looking for that role forever seeing all different types of girls,” Paris said. “When we ran into Shannon, we actually overlooked her at one point. We looked at her tape. It didn’t work at that moment. Then we went back and take another look at this girl.”
Her audition would launch her career, the casting company explained. 
The casting helped the casting company win their first Emmy last year. They were later nominated both <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/stranger-things/">Stranger Things </a>and <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/donald-glover/">Donald Glover</a>’s hit <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/fx/">FX</a> series <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/atlanta/">Atlanta</a>.

Arguably, Feldstein Paris casting is one of the most influential casting companies in Atlanta, Georgia. They provide casting for several hit shows including <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/netflix/">Netflix’s</a> <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/ozark/">Ozark</a>, <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/own/">OWN’s</a> <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/greenleaf/">Greenleaf</a>, and <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/marvel/">Marvel’s</a> <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/guardians-of-the-galaxy/">Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2</a>. 
Previously, the casting company worked from home. Now, the casting directors work out of an office in Battery Park in Smyrna, Georgia. Thanks in part to the fact auditions are now being sent digitally saving an enormous amount of time and money. 
According to SAG-AFTRA Atlanta, the number of actors working in the state has grown from 800 people to well over 2,200 in less than a decade.

One actor even argued that Feldstein Paris casting decisions have improved the number of opportunities for regional and local actors. The casting company explained the casting company has  “really raised the industry’s awareness of the talent pool in Atlanta. They really love actors, and it shows in their work. They’ll push to cast local actors in larger roles.”

'Stranger Things' Casting Directors Reveal Why Atlanta is The New Hollywood

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming this summer in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:

<ul><li class="p1">Characters are 40 to 60 years old, from Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, and Columbia.</li>
 	<li class="p1">Filming will shoot in Atlanta starting this July/August. However, casting directors need to present all candidates to the director ASAP. You must be legal to work in the U.S. with a non-restricted Social Security number to be eligible.</li>

According to reports, Disney&#146;s&nbsp;Jungle Cruise&nbsp;is filming under the working title&nbsp;Elixer.&nbsp;The Rock will star and produce the adventure production. The actor closed the deal on the Disney movie last April, according to&nbsp;The Hollywood Reporter.&nbsp;The Disney live-action adaptation of the popular theme park ride will be released in spring 2018.
Jungle Cruise&nbsp;is one of Disneyland&#146;s original rides and takes park-goers on a journey through Africa&#146;s Nile and Congo rivers as well as South America&#146;s Amazon.&nbsp;This news comes after Dwayne Johnson filmed nearly all of his big-budget movies in Atlanta including&nbsp;<a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/jumanji/">Jumanji</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/rampage/">Rampage</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/fast-8/">Fast 8</a>,&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/baywatch/">Baywatch</a>.
