It's no surprise that A24 is behind this movie, as they've been killing it since the release of 'Everything Everywhere All at Once.'
Stewart will play the protective lover of a female bodybuilder in this biopic. Stewart has also done a great job portraying Snow White, Bella Swan, and many other characters, but this role might be her best.
Stewart has been making movies since she was just 12 years old. She started in 2002 when Jodie Foster's character had a daughter who was fixated on protecting her from crime and ultimately faced danger while they both tried to survive during events outside their home&mdash;a story which would become known as Panic Room.'
Stewart has also done a great job portraying Snow White, Bella Swan, and many other characters, but this role might be her best.
We are so excited to see Kristen Stewart take on this new role and can't wait to see how she brings the character to life.

<h4>Halle Berry will star in her first major TV series role in "Extant" which will be on CBS.</h4>
According to Variety, Halle Berry will play an astronaut returning from a yea long solo space mission. But after being gone she struggles to reconnect with her son, husband, and her everyday life. Ultimately, her experiences in space and back home will change human history forever.

When asked about the new series, Halle Berry said “I’m always on the lookout for amazing roles, and when you see material that contains this strong of auspices, nuance and complexity, it compels me to run toward it no matter the medium,”.

“For five months a year, I’ll get to live with and play this incredibly intelligent and vulnerable woman, and for the remainder of the year I’ll continue to look for other roles that move me as deeply as this one.”

Halle Berry Moves to Television with CBS's New Series 'Extant'

<h2>Halle Berry is now unemployed as CBS cancels&nbsp;Extant.&nbsp;</h2>
When Halle Berry first announced that she was heading to TV, everyone was extremely excited. Including myself, I waited for CBS to unveil this new series featuring the queen of Hollywood, Halle Berry. But, by episode three of&nbsp;Extant&nbsp;I stopped watching. It wasn't the fact that the show's plot made less sense than a nuclear physics to a five year old but, because Halle Berry suffered a major loss by deciding to head to TV especially for a show like&nbsp;Extant.&nbsp;

Well, I guess my feelings were not alone because CBS executives sat down and decided to cancel Halle Berry's TV series&nbsp;Extant&nbsp;after only two seasons.

"CBS, Halle Berry and the producers have decided to conclude the Extant story after last season&#146;s exciting and fitting conclusion," CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller said. "Extant played an important role in expanding CBS&#146; lineup of original scripted programming in the summer.&nbsp;We are proud of the show&#146;s success on the network, as well as its popularity on Amazon Prime Video.&nbsp;We also want to thank the incomparable Halle Berry for her commitment and support for the series, and look forward to working with her on our next project together."

But, luckily for Halle Berry, CBS has hired her for another show. The new series called&nbsp;Legalease, focuses on&nbsp;&nbsp;Halle Berry who will play a biracial lawyer who follows a case to New Orleans, where she partners with a white attorney while she works on exposing a corrupt justice system. Unfortunately for Halle Berry, this show sounds like a&nbsp;cheap knock-off of Viola Davis'&nbsp;How to Get Away with Murder&nbsp;and there is nothing Halle Berry can do to compete with, Emmy Award winning actress, Viola Davis' acting chops.

It begs the question - why is Halle Berry still on TV? &nbsp;Apparently, Halle Berry signed a two year overall deal with CBSTV. It is unclear if Halle Berry will actually have an onscreen role on the show or if she will just produce the production. Hopefully, she decides the latter.

CBS Finally Cancels Halle Berry's 'Extant'

<h2>'Minority Report' TV sequel is ramping up production</h2>
Update: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has picked up to pilot the sequel to the Minority Report feature film.

The sci-fi drama was reported as one of the hottest productions in Hollywood, and Fox is going all in to see this pilot produced.

<blockquote>The Minority Report follow-up takes place 10 years after the end of Precrime in D.C., when one of the three Precogs struggles to lead a "normal" human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future. He meets a detective haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.</blockquote>
(September 9, 2014) Do you remember Minority Report?A futuristic crime thriller by Steven Spielberg centering around a cop who worked with a specialized police department that used telepaths to predict when a person was going to commit a crime, before the crime ever happened. It was an interesting concept, and in 2002 it was ahead of its time. Well, it looks like Fox is giving the sci-fi drama a TV reboot.

According to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/minority-report-female-led-tv-731107" target="_blank">reports</a>, Fox plans on launching a female-led sequel to the movie which will take place 10 years after the end of the Precrime in D.C., and focuses on a former "Precog" or telepath and his attempt to lead a normal life while still experiencing visions of the future. The Precog later teams up with a struggling detective and they work together to use his gift for good.

Fox's 'Minority Report' TV Sequel to Start Filming

It's way past time to get rid of the "big name" fallacy, which is nothing more than a myth. All actors are names, and privileging a few with a false distinction is a form of favoritism that benefits no one. TV shows and movies need good storylines and plots as a starting point, then good actors to draw people into the stories they tell. How about some originality instead of endless remakes, reboots, and sequels?

<h2>Hollywood Stars Don't Guarantee Hit TV Shows - Halle Berry's 'Extant' in trouble after dismal summer.</h2>
CBS's expensive TV series, Extant, starring Halle Berry has had a very lackluster summer. The Steven Spielberg TV series has not lived up to expectations and it should cause Hollywood to reconsider casting big names for TV series.

According to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/summer-tv-lesson-no-1-728733" target="_blank">The Hollywood Reporter</a>, the ratings for 'Extant' have been way below expectations. While, lower budget TV series such as 'Taxi Brooklyn' have been far more successful in comparison.

When you have a big name attached to a major television series, the show becomes more expensive. Now, Extant's future is &nbsp;unclear, and it looks as though CBS will pull the plug on the sci-fi drama.

Nowadays, the actors playing lead roles have less of an impact on how well a movie or TV show will do than you think.&nbsp;A study was published that demonstrated<a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/casting-calls-and-auditions/these-3-actors-are-the-only-actors-that-increase-how-much-a-movie-makes/" target="_blank"> only three actors</a> have the ability to increase box office earnings.

However, Hollywood tends to promote certain A-List actors in big budget productions, despite the actors have no financial impact in the movie or TV show.

At the end of the day, unless you are Brad Pitt, Will Smith, or Johnny Depp most people could care less who is starring in a TV show or movie. But, what does matter is the quality and content of the production,&nbsp;not&nbsp;the name of the actor.

With HBO's 'True Detective' heading into <a title="Vince Vaughn in Talks to Star in HBO&#146;s &#145;True Detective&#146; Season 2" href="https://www.projectcasting.com/news/vince-vaughn-in-talks-to-star-in-hbos-true-detective-season-2/" target="_blank">season 2</a>, there are many reports that certain A-List movie actors are going to be attached to the TV series. However, if Halle Berry's run-in with TV demonstrates anything, HBO should concentrate on producing a quality TV show first and then look into hiring the appropriate actor for the job.

<h2>Steven Spielberg's 'Minority Report' TV Series is Coming Soon</h2>
Steven Spielberg is developing a TV series based on his 2002 hit movie, "Minority Report" that will be written by the writer from "Godzilla".

The new weekly series will focus on the elite PreCrime Unit who solve crimes before they happen. Spielberg is expected to attach a leading actor to the TV series just as he did with Halle Berry on CBS' sci-fi series 'Extant', according to <a href="http://www.thewrap.com/steven-spielberg-hiring-godzilla-writer-for-minority-report-tv-series-exclusive/" target="_blank">TheWrap</a>.

Spielberg has described  'Minority Report' as "fifty percent character and fifty percent very complicated storytelling with layers and layers of murder mystery and plot".

'Minority Report' was a commercial success, earning over $358 million worldwide against an overall budget of $142 million (including advertising). Over four million DVDs were sold in its first few months of home release.

Hopefully Spielberg's 'Minority Report' will do better than J.J. Abrams' police drama 'Almost Human' as the show was canceled by fox only after one season.

A production assistant, also known as a PA, is a member of the film crew. A PA is a person responsible for various aspects of a production. The job of a PA can vary greatly depending on the budget and specific requirements of a production as well as whether or not the production is unionized.
