The film is set in Russia in the late &lsquo;90s and follows a group of men known as the Tiger Team who protect endangered tigers from poachers.&nbsp; Vanzin (Skarsgard), the Team&rsquo;s leader, is tested when he is charged with hunting down and exterminating a tiger that killed a poacher in self-defense.&nbsp;

American Psycho Movie Script
American Psycho&nbsp;is a 2000 psychological thriller&nbsp;film directed by&nbsp;Mary Harron&nbsp;based on&nbsp;Bret Easton Ellis's&nbsp;novel of the same name. It stars&nbsp;Christian Bale,&nbsp;Willem Dafoe,&nbsp;Jared Leto,&nbsp;Josh Lucas,&nbsp;Samantha Mathis,&nbsp;Chlo&euml; Sevigny,Cara Seymour,&nbsp;Justin Theroux, and&nbsp;Reese Witherspoon. It debuted at the&nbsp;Sundance Film Festival&nbsp;on April 14, 2000.

Mary Harron, who had previously directed&nbsp;I Shot Andy Warhol, directed the film and co-wrote its screenplay with&nbsp;Guinevere Turner. This screenplay was selected over three others, including one by Ellis himself. Turner claims Ellis' only complaint with the film was Bateman's&nbsp;moonwalk&nbsp;before killing Paul Allen. In the novel, Patrick Bateman's favorite artists are&nbsp;Genesis,&nbsp;Huey Lewis and the News, and&nbsp;Whitney Houston. An entire chapter is devoted to each.

Virtually every line in the film, including voice-overs, are taken nearly verbatim from Ellis' novel. One of the few discrepancies is that several names from the book were changed for the film; for instance Paul Owen became Paul Allen and Tim Price became Tim Bryce. In an interview, Harron claimed to be distressed upon discovering that&nbsp;Paul Allen&nbsp;was a real person, and that she meant nothing by the use of his name.[Johnny Depp&nbsp;was informally attached to the project, first with&nbsp;Stuart Gordon&nbsp;in talks and then with&nbsp;David Cronenberg&nbsp;attached.&nbsp;Brad Pitt&nbsp;was once attached to star, with David Cronenberg directing and Ellis himself writing the script.&nbsp;Edward Norton&nbsp;was offered the part of Bateman but turned it down. Harron was set to direct, and offered the role of Bateman to&nbsp;Christian Bale, when production company&nbsp;Lions Gate Films&nbsp;issued a&nbsp;press release&nbsp;that&nbsp;Leonardo DiCaprio&nbsp;would star.

Oliver Stone&nbsp;subsequently expressed interest in directing the film which would see DiCaprio as Bateman,&nbsp;James Woods&nbsp;as Kimball, and&nbsp;Cameron Diaz&nbsp;as Evelyn with a script written by Matthew Markwalder. Harron resigned in protest because of Stone's and DiCaprio's desire to make Bateman more humane and less of a cold-blooded killer. DiCaprio was going to be paid $20 million for the film. When&nbsp;Gloria Steinem&nbsp;lobbied DiCaprio not to make the film, on the grounds that his fan base consisted mostly of young teenage girls following his&nbsp;Titanic&nbsp;success, he dropped out, as did Stone.&nbsp;Ewan McGregor&nbsp;was subsequently offered the part, but declined after Christian Bale personally urged him to do so.&nbsp;Eventually Harron and Bale returned together to the project.

"Feel like a star with your speaking walk-on role in the upcoming feature film from three-time Academy Award nominated writer/director David O. Russell, whose latest film SIlver Linings Playbook received eight Oscar nominations. You will step into the world of 1970?s New York, appearing in a scene of the film and getting to meet and take a photo with the talent on set that day.

This soon to be titled film stars Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, Louis CK, and more.

Some of Russell&#146;s most notable work includes The Fighter (nominated for seven Academy Awards), Three Kings and Flirting With Disaster.

Witness the magic that goes on behind making a film and get your 15 minutes of fame as you are seen on screen in his next film.

It would be helpful, however NOT REQUIRED, that you arrive in 70?s attire. For example, bell bottoms, vests, flower shirts, afros, side burns, mustaches, long hair, mini dresses/skirts, platform shoes, etc. You will still be considered for work on this project if you aren&#146;t able to wear or bring this look.

We are also looking for extras with cars from the 1960s and 1970s. If you have an appropriate car and would be interested in doing extra work while your car is being used as a prop, we encourage you to attend the open call as well and bring a photo of your car.

<h2><a title="Christian Bale" href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/christian-bale/">Christian Bale</a> has provided further insight into his role as Gorr the God Butcher, revealing how other films and directors influenced him. He also said that he had no idea what the MCU was.</h2>
Gorr the God Butcher, the antagonist in "Thor: Love and Thunder," played by Bale's Thor, initially shocked fans when They first revealed his character, and he has now explained his motivation behind the frightening appearance.

The aesthetic of Gorr the God Butcher, according to Bale, is a combination of director Taika Waititi's "thoughts," a horror icon, and music. "There's obviously sort of a Nosferatu slight attitude. Taika and I wanted to do a whole dance, which we didn't get to do, but we had all this sort of <a href="https://hypebeast.com/tags/kate-bush">Kate Bush</a> stuff that we worked at. But I think he just realised he was never going to be allowed to put that in the final film," he shared. "I would say that the most common thing I was staring at was the <a href="https://hypebeast.com/tags/aphex-twin">Aphex Twin</a> video of 'Come To Daddy.' But I don't even know if that will be in the final film."
After researching Gorr and what he looks like in the comic books, however, he realized that he was not "the right man." "You sort of go, 'I know what he does.' It's right there in the name, isn't it? But I did make the mistake of Googling him and, oh no! [In the comics] he runs around in a G-string all the time," Bale said. "And I thought, 'They don't have the right man for that!' And then Taika quickly dispelled any notions of running around in that. But I always did think what he could do with this in front of a bluescreen &ndash; he could chuck on whatever he wants later on."
He also answered some questions regarding his future with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including if he had any reservations about donning the batman for another comic book adaptation. "Absolutely not, no. That didn't even enter into my head at all," he answered, adding that he had no idea what the <a href="https://hypebeast.com/tags/mcu">MCU</a> was at first." I'd read that, and people would go, 'Oh, look at this! He's entered the MCU!' And I'd go, 'I've done what? I haven't entered shit, thank you very much.' I'm like, 'The MCU?' I had to ask what that was."

Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy was a box-office hit. A fourth movie in the ‘Batman’ franchise did not seem possible. Christian Bale revealed Warner Bros. pitched a film to follow 2012’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ 
In an interview with the ‘Toronto Sun,’ Christian Bale, who starred as Batman for a total of seven years, revealed he rejected the notion of doing another movie. Bale wanted to fulfill’s Christopher Nolan’s wishes and only do three films. 
“When they came [to us after ‘Batman Begins’] and said, ‘You want to go make another?’ It was fantastic, but we still said, ‘This is it. We will not get another opportunity,’” he said. “Then they came, and they said, ‘OK, let’s do the third one.’ Chris had always said to me that if we were fortunate to be able to make three, we would stop. ‘Let’s walk away after that,’ he said. Then when they inevitably came to us and said, ‘How about a No. 4?’ I said, ‘No. We have to stick to Chris’ dream, which was always to, hopefully, do a trilogy. Let’s not stretch too far and become overindulgent and go for a fourth.’”
Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale’s Dark Knight trilogy started in 2005. ‘The Dark Knight’ in 2008 and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in 2012 and the franchises is a coming-of-age story for the caped crusader. The franchise features such villains as Ra’s al Ghul, Scarecrow, Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Joker, and Bane, the introduction of Catwoman and Talia al Ghul and Batman’s eventual retirement.

Christian Bale Reveals Why He Turned Down a Fourth Batman Movie

[&#8230;] Christian Bale Thanks ‘Satan’ For Inspiration to Play Dick Cheney in ‘Vice’ [&#8230;]

<h2 class="p1">During Christian Bale’s acceptance speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, Christian Bale gave a shoutout to the devil for inspiring him to play former Vice President Dick Cheney.</h2>
“Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration on how to play this role,” Bale said, which received a few laughs from the crowd.
Bale accepted the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for his role in Vice. 
As for Bale’s next acting gig, the Golden Globe award-winning actor had an idea. “What do you think, Mitch McConnell next?” Bale asked, referring to the Senate Majority Leader. “That would be good, wouldn’t it?”
Bale has been gaining attention this awards-season for his portrayal as Cheney in the Adam McKay comedy-drama. The movie, despite critical acclaim, struggled to compete against big budget movies.  “Vice” chronicles Cheney’s role in shaping George W. Bush’s eight years in the White House.
This news comes after Christian Bale reportedly saved the Vice movie's director from a heart attack.

For his role in Vice, where he plays former US Vice President, Dick Cheney, Bale put on 34 pounds. However, it was his study of heart attack symptoms, which has proved to be a valuable acting skill.

Cheney famously suffers from cardiovascular disease, having his first of five heart attacks when he was only 37 years old, before going on to receive a heart transplant at age 71. To convey his heart attacks accurately, Bale researched the symptoms, not knowing it would save the life of the director, Adam McKay.

McKay suffered a heart attack of his own in January and said if it were not for a conversation on set with Bale, he might have died.

In an interview with <a href="https://deadline.com/2018/11/adam-mckay-vice-heart-attack-dick-cheney-christian-bale-1202510930/">Deadline</a>, 50-year-old McKay said: “We finish the movie, and I call my trainer. I say, we got to get on it, man. I’m too heavy.

“Our third workout, I get tingly hands and my stomach starts going queasy. I always thought when you get a heart attack, it’s pain in the chest or the arm.

“But then I remembered, when we shot one of the heart attack scenes, Christian Bale asked me, ‘How do you want me to do it?’ And I go, ‘What do you mean? It’s a heart attack. Your arm hurts, right?’

“He says, ‘No, no. One of the more common ways is that you get really queasy and your stomach hurts.’ I said, ‘Really?’ I’d never heard that before.

“And right in that moment I went, ‘Oh shit,’ and I ran upstairs and downed a bunch of baby aspirin, and I called my wife who immediately called 911. Got to the hospital really fast, and the doctor said, because you did that, no damage was done, your heart is still really strong.

“That’s because I remembered Christian Bale telling me that. The doctor said you got to quit smoking, that’s what’s doing this to you. You need to lose weight, but smoking’s making it four times worse.

“I called Christian a week later and said, either you or Dick Cheney just saved my life.”
