The John Wick prequel, The Continental, is a three-part special event on Peacock. Lionsgate and the streamer have inked a multi-year contract for this upcoming release.

Peacock will premiere The Continental in 2023, focusing on the inner workings of the Continental Hotel. Viewers will see the perspective of a young Winston Scott, played by Colin Woodell, as he fights his way through the underworld of New York City in 1975 to take control of the hotel.
Joining Woodell are Ayomide Adegun, who will play young Charon; Peter Greene, who will play Uncle Charlie; Mel Gibson as Cormac; Ben Robson as Frankie; Hubert Point-Du Jour as Miles; Jessica Allain as Lou; Mishel Prada as KD and Nhung Kateas Yen.

Despite the box office success of The Batman, a sequel to Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson's superhero spectacular has yet to get the go-ahead from Warner Bros. Discovery. Recently, the media giant has given fans of the DCEU reassurance that the franchise has a ten-year plan to develop its characters and plots in a way similar to how Marvel does with the MCU. However, it seems as if there is some confusion about what will happen next now that multiple versions of Batman are being considered for future projects.

Although Ben Affleck's Batman has already been confirmed to return in the Aquaman sequel, Pattinson's take on the Caped Crusader has yet to get the thumbs up from Warner Bros. Warner Bros. is preparing to scrap The Flash movie entirely following Ezra Miller's arrest for burglary. Insiders have suggested that the studio is now considering its options and may even follow suit with Batgirl after investing $90 million into its development.

The return of Kevin Greutert as the director for the thriller horror film has been revealed by Variety. Fans will be pleased to see Greutert back at the helm, who originally led Saw VI in 2009 and then again in 2010 with Saw: The Final Chapter. He was also well-loved for his work as an editor on the first five films of the franchise, as well as 2017's smash hit success, Jigsaw. Although plot details have not yet been released for the upcoming Saw 10th installment, fans are confident that Greutert is a fantastic choice for this much-anticipated film."
The franchise producers, Mark Burg and Oren Koules, told Variety, "We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love. And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans' favorites in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon." The series has been running since 2004 and is recognized as a classic in the horror genre.
Saw 10 is expected to premiere in theaters on October 27, 2023.

'SAW 10' is Officially Coming Soon

"With the 10th annual Hunger Games fast approaching, the young Snow is alarmed when he is assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird, the girl tribute from impoverished District 12," continues. "But, after Lucy Gray commands all of Panem's attention by defiantly singing during the reaping ceremony, Snow thinks he might be able to turn the odds in their favor."</h3>
"When you read Suzanne's book, Lucy Gray's emotional intelligence, physical agility, and fiercely powerful, determined singing voice shine through. Rachel embodies all of those skills &mdash; she is the perfect choice for our Lucy Gray," said Lionsgate Motion Picture Group president Nathan Kahane.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 and 2 directors Francis Lawrence will return for the fifth installment. He directed three of the four "Hunger Games" movies &mdash; Catching Fire, Mockingjay Part One, and Mockingjay Part Two &mdash; as well as producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson.
"Like everybody, I first saw Rachel Zegler in 'West Side Story,' and like everybody, I knew I was watching a star who would command the screen for a generation," said Lawrence. "Lucy Gray is a perfect match for her as an actress: the character is bold, independent and defiant, but also vulnerable, emotional and loving. Rachel will make this character unforgettable."
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will be released in theaters on November 17, 2023, just three years after the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

Ewan McGregor Has No interest in Joining The Marvel Cinematic Universe

<h2><a title="Ryan Gosling" href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/ryan-gosling/">Ryan Gosling</a> and <a title="Emily Blunt" href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/emily-blunt/">Emily Blunt</a> to star in 'The Fall Guy.'</h2>
As the name suggests, this series was inspired by the 1980s classic. The cast of David Leitch's upcoming film The Fall Guy continues to grow, with Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling the latest stars to join the project. Based on the '80s TV series of the same name, The Fall Guy will tell the story of a Hollywood stuntman (played by Lee Majors in the original show) who gets caught up in a world of crime.

He also went bounty hunting on the side to make ends meet, and the program followed his escapades alongside Douglas Barr and stunt actor colleague Heather Thomas. Gosling and Guymon Casady will produce, while Leitch will handle directing with writer and executive producer Drew Pearce, with who they previously collaborated on Fast &amp; Furious Presents: Hobbs &amp; Shaw. With all this in mind, it's easy to see why the trailer has already created quite a stir among fans.
Production will start in Australia later this year, and the film will be released in theaters on March 1, 2024.

Warner Bros. Discovery recently announced that they are canceling their highly anticipated Batgirl film, much to fans' dismay. This sudden decision has led many to wonder if we will ever see a Batgirl project come to fruition. The move also comes during Warner Bros. Discovery's current shakeup period.

Variety reports that the new bosses of the Batgirl reboot, Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, are still hoping to "mend fences." While Batgirl's film has been canceled, according to reports, the studio wants Grace to continue playing the character for other films or even work on different projects at the studio.
The planned film was supposed to star Grace as Batgirl or Barbara Gordon and include JK Simmons reprising his Commissioner James Gordon role and Michael Keaton returning to the Batman part. Grace may appear in future Warner Bros. Discovery movies as Batgirl.

Warner Bros. Reportedly Wants Leslie Grace to Continue Playing Batgirl 

<h2>DC Entertainment Declares "Multiple" James Gunn Projects are Moving Forward.</h2>
Over the past few weeks, <a title="Warner Bros. Discovery's" href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/warner-bros/">Warner Bros. Discovery's</a> decision to cancel or shelve several DC Entertainment projects has left fans and employees alike feeling confused and uncertain.

The general public is unsure which projects will be scrapped or continue since the newly formed company has shown that it is willing to eliminate some past undertakings, like Batgirl. The studio has now stated that a new 10-year plan is currently in development for the DC Extended Universe. According to the Hollywood Reporter's announcement, Warner had suggested that films based on Supergirl, Green Lantern Corps, and Static Shock were expected in the next few years. However, with production and development currently slowed at the studio, there does not appear to be much sign of these features moving forward.
Even though many are worried, the studio has stated that several much-loved projects from DC will be okay. Out of those still in development, this includes "multiple" projects by James Gunn, such as season two of Peacemaker. No further information has been provided about which projects, but it is known that there will be more from Gunn for the DC Universe. Blue Beetle has also been given the go-ahead for an August 2023 release date, which is exciting. Stay tuned for further news.

Cinemax's Banshee Season 2 Casting Call for Background Actors

Casting directors for the upcoming second season of Banshee have posted a casting call for speciality roles.

Banshee is an American drama TV series created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler who serve as the executive producers along with Alan Ball, GReg Yaitanes and Peter Macdissi.

The series is set in a small town in Pennsylvania Amish country and features an ex-con that poses as a murdered sheriff who imposes his own kind of justice while setting up plans that serve his own interests.

Currently, Banshee airs on HBO-owned network, Cinemax and is produced by&nbsp;Your Face Goes Here Entertainment.&nbsp;Banshee is part of Cinemax's attempt to expand their&nbsp;original&nbsp;programming.

Banshee&nbsp;takes place in the fictional small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania. After serving 15 years in prison for stealing diamonds from Ukranian gangster Mr. Rabbit, the unnamed protagonist travels to Banshee to find his heist accomplice and former lover, Anastasia. When he finds her, the protagonist learns that she is now a married mother of two living under the assumed identity of Carrie Hopewell. Later, when the incoming Sheriff is killed, the protagonist takes on his identity as Lucas Hood, becoming the town's new Sheriff.&nbsp;Banshee&nbsp;sees Hood struggle with adapting to his new identity while dealing with the machinations of local crime lord Kai Proctor, and remaining hidden from Rabbit.

Cinemax&nbsp;has renewed&nbsp;Banshee&nbsp;for a second season three weeks into the action series&#146; freshman run. The second season of the drama, executive produced by Alan Ball, Jonathan Tropper, David Schickler, Peter Macdissi and Greg Yaitanes, will air in 2014. In its January 11 premiere,&nbsp;Banshee&nbsp;drew&nbsp;a respectable 483,000 viewers at 10 PM and 965,000 over three airings. This is the first truly homegrown Cinemax series, having started as a project in development at sibling HBO. It joins&nbsp;Strike Back&nbsp;as the second Cinemax series to score a second-season renewal.

Banshee&nbsp;stars Antony Starr as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pa., where he continues his criminal activities &#151; even as he&#146;s hunted by the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier. Tropper and Schickler wrote Season 1.
