Why HBO's 'VEEP' is Leaving Baltimore for Good

HBO 'Veep' Season 5 will film in Los Angeles, California instead of Baltimore, Maryland.

HBO's 'Veep' is heading to the West Coast. The DC-set comedy starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus is moving production from Baltimore to Los Angeles for its fifth season all thanks to $6.5 million in tax credits producers received from the California Film Commission. “The producers and HBO would like to thank Maryland for making the last four seasons of ‘Veep’ such a success,” HBO said in a statement. In addition to changing places, Armando Iannucci, the creator of 'Veep' announced in April that he's leaving the series. Discuss this story with fellow Project Casting fans on Facebook.
