War Dogs feature Jonah Hill and Miles Teller as a group of guys who secure a multi-million dollar contract from the U.S. government to supply guys to the Afghan military.
But did you know the Warner Bros. comedy nearly featured Shia LaBeouf and James Corden? Apparently, the night before Corden first met the actor for a reading, LaBeouf was arrested after disrupting a Broadway performance of Cabaret. "I got a message: 'I don't know if it's going to happen tomorrow," he recalled. "Shia LaBeouf is in jail.'"
After getting released from jail, LaBeouf headed straight to his scheduled meeting. “They take your shoelaces away in prison because they’re afraid you’re going to kill yourself, I suppose,” director Todd Phillips explained. “So he was carrying his shoelaces, and for some reason he put them on his face because he was being weird and wanted to throw you off a little bit.”
