Disney+’s ‘WandaVision’ Trailer is Finally Here – Watch Now

Date:

Marvel has released the official trailer for its upcoming Disney+ series, WandaVision.

The trailer debuted at the 2020 Emmy and provides the latest visual tease for fans since the teaser from the Super Bowl. The trailer, which includes the filmmaking style of sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sees Elizabeth Olson and Paul Bettany reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision. The couple finds themselves pleasantly living a normal suburban life, however when asked about the specifics of their relationship, they are at a loss of words. They then begin to think something about their life isn’t quite right, and the trailer places the two in seemingly different eras having kids and fighting antagonists.

Joining Olson and Bettany are Kat Dennings (reprising her role as Darcy Lewis from the Thor franchise), Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, and Randall Park (reprising his role as FBI Agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp).

A release date was not revealed in the trailer, but the official Disney+ synopsis confirms the series is set to debut before the end of 2020.

In relevant news, the director of ‘Candyman’ Nia DaCosta will direct the sequel to ‘Captain Marvel’ for Marvel Studios. According to The Wrap, Nia DaCosta will direct the project with Megan McDonnell, who worked on ‘Wandavision’, writing the project. The first ‘Captain Marvel’ movie starred Brie Larson and made $1.1 billion worldwide at the box office. Details surrounding the equal have not been released. However, Marvel said in 2019 Comic-Con the movie will directly lead to the events of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”.

In more Marvel news, Anthony Mackie, the actor who plays Falcon in several Marvel movies reveals in an interview that Marvel movies all have had a white production crew and the company needs to work on diversity. Anthony Mackie recently opened up about his experiences playing Falcon in Marvel movies. During an interview with Daveed Diggs for Variety’s Actors on Actor, Mackie discussed how the Black Lives Matter movement is putting a spotlight on diversity in Hollywood.
