Walmart is Now Looking for Ideas and Products from Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Date:

Walmart is looking to give aspiring entrepreneurs a shot.

Walmart is hosting their fifth annual open casting call event. It is a chance to get a seat at the table with one of the company’s buyers. According to WSLS, Walmart has a ton of opportunities for entrepreneurs including supplying your product to a handful of stores in a local market, to supplying thousands of stores, Sam’s Club locations, and even walmart.com.

From Walmart:

At Walmart, we believe in making a difference on the issues our customers and communities care about. We believe we can create more American jobs by supporting more American manufacturing. Jump-starting the manufacturing industry and rebuilding the middle class requires a national effort by companies, industry leaders, lawmakers and others.

Together, we can help spark a revitalization of U.S.-based manufacturing. By making production more affordable and feasible in the United States, we can bring our customers more U.S.-made products and manufacturers can create more jobs in America.

If you have a great idea, you can apply here. You have until May 4th. The Made in the USA, Open Call event starts on June 13th in Bentonville, Arkansas.
