Tom Cruise has returned to London to film Mission Impossible 5.
Tom Cruise, the
Mission Impossible actor has confirmed that the sequel will film and shoot in London.
According to the Telegraph,
Tom Cruise arrived in London on Saturday for the premiere of 'Edge of Tomorrow'. During the premiere he announced that they will be shooting, 'Mission Impossible 5' in London.
“I’m working on the next mission soon and we’re shooting it here in London,” the 51-year-old actor says at the BFI Imax, Waterloo. The fifth film in the franchise is, however, proving problematic. “We haven’t come up with the title yet,” he says. “Hopefully I’ll come up with a good one before the movie is finished.”
Paramount Pictures and Skydance announced a deal earlier this year for
Tom Cruise to reprise the role of Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 5. It was also reported that
Jeremey Renner would return as William Brandt, alongside
Simon Pegg as Benji, and it is even rumored that
Jessica Chastain would be considered for a lead role in the movie.
Mission: Impossible 5 will be directed by
Christopher McQuarrie. McQuarrie previously worked on The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie, and Jack Reacher.
