Tiffany Haddish Bombs Her New Year’s Eve Show

Date:

Tiffany Haddish reportedly bombed her New Year’s Eve stand-up gig.

While performing to a sold-out audience at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida, Haddish reportedly bombed so badly on Monday night, several fans walked out of the show.

“This is going to be on TMZ or whatever,” the actress-comedian told the unhappy fans.

Haddish confirmed the report on Tuesday by saying, “Yes this happened…I wish it was better Miami.” Apparently, Haddish forgot several of her jokes and the jokes she did remember, like her mother being in a mental institution and her friends asking for money, didn’t get that many laughs.

“Not gonna lie…I’ve been partying all night. I’ve been partying all morning…I can still feel the Ciroc in my system.”

As the boos grew louder at the New Year’s show, Haddish grabbed a bottle of vodka and drank onstage as she invited audience members to come on stage and tell jokes.

“F–k it,” she said. “I really wanted to talk about some stuff and can’t remember none of it.”

Haddish recently finished working on her new movie Limited Partners in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to Deadline, Tiffany Haddish will star in the upcoming Paramount Pictures feature film. The upcoming major motion pictures had several studios fighting for her to appear in the latest production and Paramount reportedly “won the day”. Haddish, who became a Hollywood superstar following Girls Trip, will star in a comedy directed by Miguel Arteta and based on a script written by Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly.

The movie is described as a “friendship comedy about two hard-charging best girlfriends who build a juggernaut company, and find their relationships tested when they are made a big buyout offer. Suddenly all the differences that made them perfect odd couple partners put them at war, threatening their business and personal relationships.”Deadline describes the movie as a mixture between Superbad and Bridesmaids.
