'Stranger Things' Gaten Matarazzo Gave an Emotional Interview About his Disability
Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin in Stranger Things opened up about his disability on The Jonathan Ross Show.
He said he has cleidocranial dysplasia, which is a condition that affects the growth of the bones. Matarazzo explained, Its a condition where you are born without your collarbones; I dont have any. It affects your facial growth, your skull growth, it affects your teeth. Thats why I dont have any these are fake I have teeth but theyre all baby teeth. Casey Daniels (@caseydanix) September 27, 2016He also revealed that he missed out on hundreds of acting opportunities because of his disability. He said, my lisp, me being shorter, and having the teeth issue' meant writers couldn't 'write in my disability'.
