‘Stranger Things’ Creators Made this Terrifying Short Film in College [VIDEO]

Date:

Check out this terrifying short film the Duffer Brothers made before Stranger Things.

When the names Matt and Ross Duffer come to mind, you probably automatically think about their Atlanta filmed Netflix series Stranger Things. But, did you know the two twin brothers have been working in the indie film industry before creating Stranger Things? In fact, they have a special and unique skill at creating terrifying movies.

During their time at Dodge College in Orange, California, the two brothers worked on a short film called Eater that focuses on a rookie cop who runs into paranormal activity throughout his night shift. While the plot closely resembles Stranger Things in that it features a sinister monster, supernatural components and a rather high death count, it still stands on it’s own as a terrifying recreation of horror, realism and fantasy.

According to i09, this is their second credit together with their first being We All Fall Down, which currently is not available.

Take a look at the short below and let us know what you think. How does it compare to Stranger Things?
