'Sharknado 3' has stopped production due to a crew strike.
According to reports, crew members of the upcoming Syfy feature film, 'Sharknado 3' have walked off set in order to unionize. Picketing started on Tuesday morning outside of the Sharknado 3 production offices.
The action was organized by the Motion Picture Editors Guild, which operates as Local 700 of the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Employees.
“The Editors Guild instructs members and prospective members not to render services on this production during the strike,” the union said.
