Drunk woman calls 911 thinking she is Olivia Pope from ABC's Scandal.
An Iowa college student and Scandal
fan called 911 in the early hours of Friday morning to tell the police that she was Olivia Pope, that she saw Cyrus Beene, a character on Scandal,
outside a bar and there is a bomb headed towards the White House.
Sounds like an episode on Scandal.
Fake Olivia Pope Calls 911
In a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun,
reveals that Defendant called 911 claiming to be ‘Olivia Pope’ and reporting ‘cyrus beams outside of Sports Column.’”
The officer reported that she “kept talking about ‘Olivia Pope’ and about a car with a bomb in it that was heading to the White House,” and “everything that defendant stated was nonsensical and rambling.”
The obviously drunk gladiator was later arrested for public intoxication and faces a second misdemeanor charge for misuse of the 911 system.
What would Olivia Pope do?
It seems pretty obvious that the real Olivia Pop would have used that incident as a distraction from her current affair with the President.
According to TV By The Numbers
, ABC's Scandal
is still the most watched TV show on a Thursday 9 p.m. evening with over 8.06 million viewers every night.
"Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes is the creative genius behind the ABC drama. Scandal
centers around Olivia Pope, a former media consultant to the president, is ready to move on with her life and opens her own crisis-management firm, but she can't seem to shake ties with her past.
