According to Deadline,
Notorious is based on a true story focusing on the relationship between the famous criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and
Larry King Live executive producer Wendy Walker. The series is described as "a provocative look at the interplay of criminal law and the media, it follows the professional and personal relationship between a charismatic attorney and a powerhouse television producer as they attempt to control the media, the justice system, and ultimately – each other."

The series is created by Josh Berman (who filmed his hit TV series
Drop Dead Diva in Atlanta two years ago) and blogger Allie Hagan.
Rose Locke Casting will be handling the background extras for this upcoming TV series.
