Date:

Producer of Marvel’sBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ pledges that the film will not have a post-credits scene.

According to producer Nate Moore, Marvel’s upcoming release, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will not feature any end credits scenes. Marvel usually keeps audiences in the theaters until the last second of the credits as it drops Easter Eggs and hints for future titles. Recently, in an interview with Collider, Moore said that they never planned to include any post-credits scenes for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, despite the rumors. He acknowledged that he knows of these rumors and even gave a specific reason why fans should not expect any post-credit scene:

“I’ve heard those rumors, too. No, the subject matter of the film was such that it didn’t feel appropriate to have, then, a stinger. Much like [Avengers:] Endgame felt like an emotional experience that you also didn’t need a stinger at the end of this. This felt like we just wanted to tell the story as it was conceived without an added bonus. So, unfortunately, there isn’t an end credit [scene].”

So far, critics who have seen the film approve of its emotional plotline. Those who haven’t will get the chance when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters on November 11.
