Taylor Swift initially said she would not allow Apple to stream ‘1989’ because the company was refusing to pay music labels during the trial period.
Jennifer Lawrence is proud of her friend Taylor Swift for standing up to Apple Music.
During an interview at Comic-Con 2015, the ‘Hunger Games’ actress told Extra that Swift is a “badass bitch” for succeeding to change Apple Music’s policy of not paying artists during its free three-month trial for subscribers.
“Taylor Swift is a badass,” Lawrence said at Comic-Con in San Diego, where she’s promoting Mockingjay Part 2. “That letter she wrote about Apple… I texted her and was like, ‘You is a badass bitch.’ She’s awesome.”
