Elijah Wood claims there is a huge paedophile cover-up in Hollywood.According to Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood, there is a top-secret paedophile ring inside Hollywood's film industry. Elijah Wood, who is best known for starring in the Lord of the Rings franchise, has claimed there is a conspiracy to cover-up historic cases of child abuse involving some of the movie industry's A-listers. Wood compared the situation to the case of British entertainer Jimmy Savile, who was exposed as a paedophile after his death in 2011. The entertainer was a popular celebrity in the UK until it emerged he abused hundreds of young kids over the course of his career, and used his fame and influence to cover his tracks. Elijah told the Sunday Times newspaper: "Clearly something major was going on in Hollywood. It was all organised. There are a lot of vipers in this industry, people who only have their own interests in mind. There is darkness in the underbelly - if you can imagine it, it's probably happened." Elijah added that abuse victims cannot speak loudly enough to have their voices heard among the luxury of Hollywood. However, he remains grateful for his mother for ensuring he was protected from being sexually abused as a kid in the movie industry. He said: "She was far more concerned with raising me to be a good human than facilitating my career. This is not the first time accusations and allegations of paedophile in Hollywood were made. In fact, the documentary, An Open Secret features first hand accounts from young actors who suffered at the hands of managers, publicists and directors, while underage. In addition, the documentary receives input from investigative journalists and psychologists who present a collection of damaging evidence.
The movie covers several registered sex offenders that are still allowed to work within Hollywood. Including actor Brian Peck, who previously worked for Nickelodeon alongside director Bryan Singer on X-Men and X-Men 2; Peck was convicted of two counts of lewd acts with a child but, Peck is still working in Hollywood.
Why is he still working on a studio lot when hes a convicted pedophile? Valentinas said.
Who is checking that? Who is doing the hiring? Hoffman followed: We want journalists to ask every single major studio: Why would you allow any convicted pedophile to work in any form with your organization, period? Why are they any part of what you would ever do?
In addition, the director of Jeepers Creepers was a convicted sex offender. Victor Salva, the writer-director of both the 2001 original and its 2003, spent time in jail for an incident that happened on set of another horror film he did in his career, the 1989 horror movie Clownhouse. If you never watched this thriller, Clownhouse centers around three young brothers who live alone in a big house around Halloween. They are terrorized by three escaped mental patients who have murdered a trio of traveling circus clowns and taken their identities. According to reports, one of the young boys, star Nathan Forrest Winters who was 12-years-old at the time, was being molested on-set by Salva. He had previously worked with Salva on the set of the directors first movies, the short horror film Something in the Basement from three years earlier. Vice goes into detail about happened as the molestation went on.
Things took a turn for the truly awful when Salva enlisted 12-year-old Nathan Forrest Winters to stay behind for extra rehearsals. It later emerged that, during these sessions, Salva forced his young star to give and receive oral sex. All the while, Salva kept the camera rolling to add to his burgeoning child porn collection. Eventually, Winters told his parents what was going on, and Salvas house was raided by the cops, who discovered the tapes and sentenced Salva to three years in a California jail and a lifetime on the sex offenders register.Victor Salva would only serve 15 months of his sentence for raping a 12-year-old. Victor Salvas filmmaking career would take a bit of a hiatus. According to the Los Angeles Times, Salvas career took a hiatus after his prison release, working as a telemarketer during the week and writing scripts during the weekend, supposedly delivering them to well known producers posing as a delivery boy, not making another movie for five years. Salvas next movie is The Nature of the Beast, which Salva wrote and directed, starred Lance Henriksen and Eric Roberts and quickly became one of the biggest direct-to-video movies of the year. Salva would base a lot of the characters in the movie from people he met in prison. Salva then created hit movies such as Powder, Rites of Passage (a movie about a homophobic father who pushes his gay son into the arms of a serial killer) and finally Jeepers Creepers.
