Early Look at Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’

Date:

Production for Quentin Tarantino’s new movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has started.

Leonardo DiCaprio shared a first-look image of himself and co-star Brad Pitt in costume.

Quentin Tarantino’s new movie is set in 1969 and finds DiCaprio playing the former star of a Western TV series struggling to make it in Hollywood alongside his stunt double, played by Brad Pitt. Their lives get complicated by the fact that DiCaprio’s character lives next door to Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie in the movie.

The cast of the movie includes Timothy Olyphant, Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, and Nicholas Hammond.

It is unclear whether filming has started or if this photo is just a photo from a wardrobe fitting. But it is possible shooting is set to begin at any minute.

This movie will be the first time Tarantino has worked with Sony Pictures. The director usually worked with Harvey Weinstein on his previous films through Miramax and The Weinstein Company.

The film opens in theaters on August 9, 2019.
