Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are set to make a movie about the 1990s fierce battle between Nintendo and Sega.
The two legendary duos will write the movie based upon the Blake Harris book, Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and The Battle That Defined a Generation.
The book centered on the corporate battle that helped turn video games into a billion dollar industry.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have collaborated on numerous occasions, and they are also set to direct the upcoming feature film, according to the Collider
. They worked together on such films as Superbad, Pineapple Express
and This is the End.
They are also set to develop a pilot for a TV adaptation of the comic book character Preacher.
Sony has optioned to the movie rights to Console Wars
even though the book will not be released until later 2014.
