'Chewbacca Mom' Goes Viral Again Over Dallas Shootings Tribute [VIDEO]

Chewbacca Mom covers Michael Jackson's Heal the World and goes viral.

Texas native Candace Payne, known as the viral-video personality "Chewbacca Mom" has gone viral again on her Facebook Live page. Instead of wearing a toy Wookie mask and laughing about her Star Wars love, Payne showed her serious side singing a cover of Michael Jackson's Heal the World in tribute to the dead and wounded police officers from Thursday night's shootings in Dallas, Texas. In a post titled "Make the World a Better Place," the 37-year-old Payne — who lives about 30 miles from Dallas in Grand Prairie — said:
"I've been spreading joy, and I've been hoping to do that, but I found myself over the last couple days being silent because I've been so sad and so hurt by what's going on. ... I'm very nervous to just share this with you because it's so vulnerable, but I felt like someone needs to sing these lyrics again and sing them over our world and just be a good reminder."
Since the posting Saturday, the video has garnered more than 3 million views. Related: What do you think? Share with us your thoughts in the comments below.
