Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart team up for Central Intelligence. New Line Cinema’s Central Intelligence movie will feature The Rock and Kevin hart in a new action comedy.

Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are teaming up for the new movie Central Intelligence. According to Variety, following the success of Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum’s ‘Jump Street’ series, New Line Cinema plans on creating their own buddy action comedy franchise.

Central Intelligence story starts with a class reunion approaching, as a former high school sports star turned accountant ( Kevin Hart) is contacted by a classmate (Johnson) who was bullied and humiliated back in the day. The “loser” that the accountant remembers is now a CIA contract killer who ropes him into helping foil a plot to sell classified military secrets.

New Line Cinema plans start filming the spring of 2015 but, details as to where the movie will be filmed were not released.

Central Intelligence will be directed by “We’re the Millers” Rawson Marshall Thurber and will be executive produced by The Office’s Ed Helms.

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart have Hollywood on fire. Johnson has several projects lined up including San Andreas, two more Journey to the Center of the Earth sequels, and a new HBO TV series Ballers. Kevin Hart has just finished working with Ice Cube on Ride Along 2 and Will Ferrell for Get Hard.
